Okay, this sounds like a bad movie that would be shown on TV. What you SHOULD have done is figured out how to get the $40 or just told them what went down, and ask for a little more time. You risked you and your family's life when you attacked them. I doubt the reality of this all, but i know if this happened, they could have easily went to your house and beat the shit out of everyone. I dont know how you would sleep at night.
