Finally announced
Flood after flood, I got what I was wanting. After 6 toilet mishaps, the Principal finally announced that whoever is doing that, if they were to get caught, they would get expelled and it would count as a criminal offense. God, I love it. Onto unscrewing stall doors!

Re: Finally announced
That's pathetic. The principal doesn't have to deal with the mess, the janitors do. Do something like put one of those "sex offender works here" signs on the principal's door.

Re: Finally announced
thats weak you have to do something better to piss of the principle like getting his school email address and mailing him hundreds of megabyte of porn and entering it in every porn mailing list you can find
it will be time consuming but it would be funny as hell just make sure you send the email from a public library

That is easibly traceable.

How and since when can they trace that kind of thing? All you have to enter on most of those is just an e-mail. Some you can even do on their banner. I've never heard of such a thing.

ok, there is something on every computer that is called an IP address. It can be traced back and everyone has a unique number. some people have "firewalls" that change their IP address every few minutes and this would be untraceable. basically, what girlzloverz is saying is that you need to be at a public library so the principle does not get your IP address and trace it back to your computer.

Re: Finally announced
I didn't know anything had a static IP left. I thought phone modems got new one at every log on, and my cable modem changes it's IP every other hour or so. I guess if they actually kept records somwhere of who was logged on when to which IP maybe. But then again I don't know much about this stuff anymore...

Re: Finally announced
First off, it takes a court order to force an ISP to link an IP address to a certain account. Even then it's not a sure thing. Secondly, even if they confirm that it originated from your account, that's still very circumstantial.
You're much more likely to be caught because you bragged about it to the wrong person.

Re: Finally announced
I built and ISP.
It is very easy to see who logged in when and was assigned which IP.
All the police have to do is ask for the information from the ISP. They dont have to have a warrant. There are few ISPs who would say no.
Having the time/IP/user info creates probable cause, so make sure that you do not have any proof (notes, pics, etc.) hanging around your place.

Its not firewalls. There is no such thing that changes your ip like that. Its always traceble, but using a proxy will do the job easy. Go find a proxy anywhere and chain them up if you still feel unsafe. There is no such thing as instantly traceble ip like you see in the movies.

Exactly, how are you getting to the Principal by doing this? Janitors are usually cool people, you dont need to make thier jobs harder... Get a girl or something.

Re: Finally announced
The whole bathroom angle of this thread reminds me of a story.
I happened in a New England girls school.
All the young girls would go to the bathroom to put on their lipstick. Which was fine, but they had a ritual of kissing the mirror before they left the bathroom.
So every day the janitor had to clean the rather large mirror. So he finally complained to the school principal.
So she (the principal) brought all the girls into the bathroom and explained that by kissing the mirror every day they created more work for the janitor to do. So she instructed the janitor to show them all the work he had to go through every day to clean the mirror.
He took out his squeegee and walked over to a toilet stall. Dipped the squeegee into the toilet and walked over to the mirror and cleaned it.
Needless to say, the girls didn't kiss the mirror any more.
There are teachers and then there are educators.
