Bind 3 long and thin needles together and in the center there will be a triangular hole. Dip the needled in the ink and stick em in your skin little by little. This is painfull as hell and can be poisonous. This is usually done to make simple drawings or dates, names,....,etc.
edit: afther some time the colour will change from black to dark green.

I have 35 India ink tattoos, most of which I did myself. If someone can tell me how to upload a pic I will do it. A gun is the best to use, and single needle at that. I can show you several that are decades old and look quite good. Cleanliness is the key factor and having some sense of artistic ability helps too.

what xenobite said. but if u cant find indian ink... grind up pencil lead(not lead anymore. its graphite) to a powder. mix it with baby shampoo and a drop or 2 of water. this is the typical jail tattoo ink. i had 6 of them in my bad years but are now covered up with real tatts.
