It seems that many of you can't grasp the concept of a "bad idea." This is quite evident in the moronic drivel that so many of the less intelligent members post, and in the pyrotechnic munificence that follows. I shall therefore attempt to outline what will "fly" on this board, drawing on my own experience and common sense. These are less "bad ideas" than "not bad ideas." Please feel free to respond, if you can do so with some degree of maturity.

Things that you shouldn't waste time with:

1. Arbitrary destruction of property and/or life.

We don't care if you like to kick on your neighbors dog. Things that are merely crimes against the general good and will only result in pain, destruction, or your placement in a state ass-reaming facility fall into this category. Anything that might be committed by a twelve year old "aNarChIsT." Funny, clever, and/or exceptionally outlandish ideas are okay, but these should be presented in a hypothetical fashion.

2. Recruitment offers.

If you're looking for cronies, try bombshock (they can't be out after dark, though). It's doubtful anyone here wants to meet you in real life, as most of you are barely tolerable as a name on a screen. If you're looking for fresh meat for your hate/extremist group, look elsewhere. If you're starting one of those sex cults, email me.

3. Those Questions.

We will not help you hack hotmail. We will not tell you how to kill your neighbors.

4. Anything you haven't spent at least 30 seconds thinking through.

If you think about it for a minute and it still sounds like a marginally worthy idea, share it. Some of these topics sound like those Shakespearean monkeys came up with them...

Things that are cool:

Pranks, only moderately harmful.
Creative scams and exploits.
Generally irreverent behavior.
"What if" statements.
And most anything of value that isn't completely sucicidal or just plain stupid.

There. I'm done. I'm now accepting suggestions from those with functioning brains, and flames from the other 90%.

My only question is in the Pranks area...what do you consider "moderately" harmfull?

It varies. I'd say nothing that'd send someone to the hospital. Property damage depends on the victim. If you're fucking over corporate scum, then go all out, but don't blow up your friends car. Unless it's an 84 Escort.

A bad idea - thats what ever you want it to be. Just because one person doesnt think it comes under the social status of a "bad idea" it doesnt matter if you think its one.

Just to clarify- If it's purely an "idea," I have no problem with it. If one said, "What if we all went and threw refrigerators off of overpasses," it would be better. Still very stupid, and not worth my time, but better.

I'd have to agree with Renegade. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. If one person doesn't think thta it's a good idea, then they can bitch, moan, or flame. If not then they can comment on the ingeniousness/stupidity. Just my opinion. LOL.
