Today my father worked in our lawn and he had the garage door open. He had left a small axe there and when he came back it was missing. I am 100% sure it is not missing or anything, so someone must have stolen it.
But the thing I am wondering abot is how to defend oneself from a man with an axe. I am pretty fast with my arms but i kick pretty bad. I am 170cm and wheigh 55kg�s I have pretty good dexterety but what if I am facing some kung fu specialist. Are there any good blows that can put a guy to the ground in one hit??

About all that you could do is rush him. If there's not a foot or more between you the ax is more or less useless. You could wait for him to take a swing then rush him while he's trying to recover. Depending on where you are at the time you could also make alot of noise so other people notice the ax swinging mad man. He would then either lose interest and haul ass or be distracted long enough for you to get up close and personal with him. If you're by yourself though you're pretty much fucked and might as well try to fuck him up. He most likely won't be prepared for someone to come running at him when he has an ax.

If someone knows Kung-Fu AND has an axe then you are royally fucked. A true person that is knowledgeable in Kung-Fu can turn any object at their disposal into a weapon and I have seen them do some crazy shit with axes.

If you get in close they can choke up by the head and smack you with the head of the axe then flip it the other way and smack/jab you with the handle and then get you perfect distance to do some more complicated moves and then rock you once in the head real quick then set you up for one good wood chop and that's all she wrote.

Keep in mind that the axe is not their only weapon, they still have 2 legs and a periodically free hand, so if they know any martial arts and are wielding an axe then you had best shoot that nigga or let him keep it.

If they didn't know kung-fu or how to wield an axe in like a martial-arts efficiency then the axe could easily be of little value. If the swipe to you from the side then you can just step into the swipe quickly and the axe head misses you and its just the inside of the handle coming now, which will have little if any effect and you can get in their and rock them good while they are still holding onto the axe.

If it is a downward swing then you can either sidestep it, back out, or step in and grab the handle. If they know what they are doing though, they will make much use of the handle and choke up on the axe head when in close proximity in order to be able to use it quicker.

Well it is not easy to sidestep.. But I like the gun thing... I think it might be one of the arabs... No it has nothing to do with the Sep 11 thing... There is a lot of problems with arabs where I live. One of them and his black friend (who beated up my friend some time ago) kidnapped a 50 year old woman and assaulted her and later dumped her in a forest. She almost died, sooo we dislike them alot.

But it is easy to understand you see the first time i got beaten up was by an arab, the first time my friend got beaten up were by a black guy. And they were alot older than we were. Assuming both of you have no special training, and one has a ax, the one with the ax has a huge advantage. however, if you are skilled in the martial arts, and he on the other hand does not know how to use that ax, it is possible to take it from him with no danger(well still risky).

You would be suprised how far you will get with movie Kung-Fu if you can see the practical application of the moves and why you should use them/when to apply them if you keep practicing it.

Carry a hammer with you, if you have deep side pockets slip a hammer in there. Then all you have to do is dodge the first blow and hit him, he will go down as long as you havent pussy swiped him. When he is down break his knose, his jaw, his fingers. and take his shows off and start busting the bottom of his feet up, get his kneecaps to while your at it.

Oh A kung fu specialist, you'd be screwed If they had a q-tip, but then again the Kung fu specialists are zen budhists so its not likely that they would attack you.

try pepper spray, spray him from a distance and let it kick in for a moment then do whatever the others guys already posted, but this will really give you an upper hand.

I hope I didn't miss the point, didn't you say you "thought" it was stolen. I'd be surprised if the person who did the stealing would confirm the act by letting you see it. Is this a real threat or are you creating an excuse for revenge? ....I hope not.
