Default What kind of anti-theft protection do magazines have?

Do they have those magnetic stips or anything like that? I'm wondering because I am going to steal some mags from a local Barnes and Noble.

youve got crazy legs... snatch & run.

most magazines have little white squares of paper with golden lines on them. These are between two pages, pushed in so that they dont fall out if you turn them upside-down. just turn them upside-down and shake them until the thing falls out. Ones with those wierd plastic covers thingys will have them in the plastic covers but not between the pages (just ditch the covers).

Many smaller stores that sell magazines and that those anti-theft censors usually don't put any of those little white squares because they r too expensive to put on every magazine and then change them every month. ONLY those really expensive magazines like the mens magazines from europe have them shit like that...

Even the big stores like wal mart and shit like that, don't put them either but they usually have cameras directly infront of the magzines and MANY of the undercovers usually stand watch there and ACT like they are read a magazine

Magazines come expensive now a days - comics are a great read but there a fucking rip off for a 15 minute read, so i can understand the need for theft in the magazine area, most shops like your local store do not do the tagging bullshit the usual worry is a camera or a good human eye,
