Default K-Mart

K-Mart is going under and I am going to rip them off as much as I can while they are still here because they only have about 5 to 10 people working there at a time. So I would apriciate any advice on their security and how to evade what is left of it.

I think they might stumble on for a few years more, but who knows? The security there is slack as hell, most of the employees make off with alot more than you'll ever be able to. They don't pay attention to shit so just be semi sneaky and you'll get away.

yes think of k-mart as more of a training ground for walmart as it is really easy and i think if someone catches you they will probibly just want it with you. see my thred for defeating the shoplifting tags. http://www.totse.com/bbs/Forum7/HTML/001210.html

gl and have fun!

heh kmart is my number one place to steal shit from (or at least it was until they hired security people dressed as customers). The best thing to do there is just stuff shit into luggage bags, normal bags, or any kind of bags and just walk out the door. Theyre too dumb to know what hit them, it worked for me tons of times but i guess they realized that everyother week they lost like $1000 dollars to shoplifting so they hired some guards. Just look out for customers that are acting funny and if you think a customer saw you stuffing shit into a bag, follow him/her, but dont let them see you. See where they go, if they talk on a store phone or even a suspicous looking customer, just forget about taking anything and just leave the store right away (without the bag of goods). That should keep you out of trouble with plenty of nice new toys to play with.

I have a friend who works for K-Mart... Each store will retain one security guard. So if some one is looking at you, common sence would say "don't stuff it in your pants"...

i have a semi good idea, get a jacket any old jacket, id prefer an expensive leather sportscoast for my tastes but anyway. grab one and make sure no one is around the clothing fitting rooms. go in and see if there is no cameras if there are cameras then go in the halway, rip the tags out and walk out and the workers think that is yours. if the dressing room doesn't apply walk into the bathroom when no one is looking. if they yellat u they have no proof cause you flushed the tags and whatnot down the toilet

I would be careful around Kmart, if I were you. The one near my house has hired security goons, from a private company. You know the ones: They like to wear fake police outfits and shiny badges and whatnot.

I got stopped while I was browsing the sporting goods section the other day. They tried to take my backpack away and threatened me with a few other trivial things. Too bad for them I hadn't swiped anything... Yet. Apparently I fit their bill of being "suspicious", so they wanted to be rid of me as quickly as possible.

I suppose long hair, cargo pants, boots, a camping backpack, and fingerless gloves are a bad idea in such situations? I can't imagine why...

Hired security goons wear black and white police style outfits with the Batman utility belts. They aren't allowed to carry guns, but some of them have mace and nightsticks. They usually hang out near the service desk or patrol the major aisles of the store. Store worker security personnel wear red sportcoat sort of things, no name tags, and reside near the entrance of the store. Keep on your toes for both.
