anywhere you might think is a good spot to hide things can be found. when you're out of the house, your sister has all the time to go looking for it. if it;s a few bucks, keep it in your wallet, if it's more try what the earlier guy said about the bank. you should keep that much dough in the house cause if the house goes up in flames, it won't turn into bread.

The best way to hide stuff is if you have a closet with your shirts and stuff just put the money in one of the shirts in your closet that you dont wear that much, like in a front pocket or something, no one ever checks there. I also hide money inside cd cases that no one else in the family will like sometimes (like in my cdrom game cases and no one in my family like video games but me).

Go to CompUSA and go over to the discount book and pick yourself up a big ass programming book. Buy one, they only cost like four dollars. Then get a razor blade or something and cut a compartment in the pages inside. I know it's kind of old but a lot of people don't look through books and crap if you have them out, say by your computer .

My vote goes for inside your computer, preferably between drives or expansion cards. Bonus points if you can do this to a laptop.

Zero is so right inside the computer. i have a broken cd-rom drive that i put lunch meat or cookies in.
also try inside the little area under the vent covers. if it is a floor air duct then tie a string to what ever it is and put it there.
under carpeting is also good for flat things.

here is a random list of places that i have hidden stuff: computer, air ducts, carpeting, between walls, the subwoofers in sterio speakers, hollowed out books, matresses of beds, picture frames, on top of the refridgorater, the souls of old shoes, taped to the underside of a table, etc.

Pick some place painfully obvious. For instance, I hid my brothers video game controllers after getting sick of hearing the music of it and I hid it in my fathers bank reciept box which is right next to his bed. He searched the "whole house" and never found them. When I hid my money away from my sister (pre-bank days) I used to just hide it in my pillow case. Simple, yet effective. They'll never look there, because it's too obvious.

Cheers,
Lost

if you have a basement-
-in the backside of a large bookshelf
-in the corner of a crawlspace
-in the insulation of a crawlspace (wear gloves & a mask for this...)

-reach up into a musty old closet and see if there's a ledge above the door (good for smelly stuff ie: marijuana)
-in phones, the bases of lamps, pretty much all electronics
-in a heavy coat, cut the lining just below the tag that says the size and shit only as long as the tag, when you put stuff in it it should travel down to the bottom of the coat and the tag will cover the hole
-in the lining of a wallet (only good for very small stuff)

in your parents or a siblings room (they will never search in there for something of yours), or put it in a stupidly obvious spot, most people would think you would be to stupid to put it there and most of the time would not look in those spots, like behind a picture or a poster.
