Aluminum, flake, bright. -325 mesh, "de-dusted", coated with Teflon�. Military surplus powder used in making flash-bangs. Sort of sticky consistency, but relatively dust-free when being mixed.

I got this at skylighter. Do you think it would help making better flash bangs, escpecially combined with magnesium?

Now, sterno bombs. U know, the camping heat stuff. Is this like napalm and when you put an M-80 in it it explodes sending burning jelly all over. Has anyone tried this?

Hmmm could any one be more specific on how to make those flash bang bombs or w/e? They sound pretty damn cool.

For a sucessful flash bang, you will need some manner of strong oxidizer. Potassium perchlorate is preferable, but potassium nitrate will work in a pinch. To ensure a good flash, use an excess of magnesium.

For flat out fireball induced shock value, an M-80 and a soda can full of lighter fluid or gasoline works much better than a can of Sterno. Lighter fluid atomizes better than Sterno, and produces a much larger and more visible fireball. Sterno, though less visible and shorter ranged, will burn for a great deal longer than lighter fluid.
