Bad Ideas Kit
i was thinking earlier about making a sort of kit containing just about anything needed for a night out on the town. like just some stuff that can fit in a backpack and be used for a night of misjeif doing all different kinds of things. so just list some things that you think would be cool to put in the kit.

Re: Bad Ideas Kit
Things I like to carry when I go out on the town.
Large rubber bands - Their good for everything, plus you might get bit by an animal or snake. You never know. Sewer rats can be vicious.
Toilet paper - I doubt this needs an explanation.
Swiss Army Knife - For obvious reasons.
Safety pins - They are good for a million things and they look cool.
Small sewing kit - In case they seat of your pants rips.
Flares - I've needed them more times than I could explain.
Small dark blanket - In case you need to camp or hide or both. Also there's a possibility you might get cold.
Water - Essential.
Duct tape - Again, a multipurpose wonder.
Fake ID and real ID - I keep the fake one up front in case of questioning. But, I keep the real one on me in case of medical emergencies.
Rocks - Small rocks that you find in public plant potters work well. The smooth kind. Clonk somebody in the side of the head with one of those whenever you get the urge. Plus you can use the rubber bands in conjunction with the rocks for more leverage.
That's pretty much all I can think of.
Cheers, Lost

Re: Bad Ideas Kit
carring it all together in a back pack is a bad idea in my opinion because i have been stopped nuerous times at night for looking suspicious. when i use to break into cars last winter i would where my black trench coat (great for when you run and hide in bushes) and i would slide my slim jim up my sleeve so if a cop asked me to open my jacket they wouldn't see it. also always carry something you can defend yourself with like a knife or stun gun.

Re: Bad Ideas Kit
mason jar full of ball bearings or marbles for foot pursuit. Additionally, you could also fill the jar full of marbles with motor oil for extra tripping ability. Alternative: papertowel cardboard tubes filled with caltrops. Good for auto and foot chases, just make sure you make the caltrops with heavy enough nails if you want them to puncture a tire. In case you need to know what a caltrop is, it's an object that has a pointy end straight up at all times. Get some nails, cut off the heads, sharpen cut end, bend 90 degrees in the middle, put 2 together, fasten with jb weld. If you make them the right size and with enough care, i'm sure you could fit a shitload in one of those tubes.

Re: Bad Ideas Kit
I find that a desent crowbar can work wonders! I also always have a handcuff key on a silver chain around my neck. Cops never take necklaces, and with practice you can be gone and score a good pair of cuffs before the pig knew what happened!

Re: Bad Ideas Kit
also with the hand cuff key thing you could make a pocket in the back of your belt so it would be easier to access

Re: Bad Ideas Kit
One time I was out fucking up stuff with my crowbar, when I ran into a piggy bitch. To make a very very long story short, I ended up cuffing her dumbass to the steering wheel, and taking her gun belt, and shotgun! It was fucking funny as hell, it even made the paper! Anyways here's my kit: crowbar leatherman tool flashlight zippo slingshot pellet gun (co2 pistol) steel toed boots lockpicks brass knuckles extendable baton large ass fighting bowie knife rope (when needed) lighter fluid pellets and co2 cart. ballpoint pen pad of paper

Re: Bad Ideas Kit
Many, many good ideas in this post, and I only have one to add...and thusly, my ultimate favorite.
A while ago Z3m gave me a link to a mail order company that has access to spy/warfare equipment from the 'Eastern Bloc' era. Most of the things at sovietski.com are from East Germany and the now de-funt Soviet Empire.
It's a night vision scope, the 'Gen I' I'll give you the description from the catalog:
See for miles in just a little bit of moonlight or starlight (amplifies ambient light 20,000x) With just a press of a button, the built-in illuminator shoots a powerful invisible (to the naked eye) beam of infared light, giving you the light vision of an owl, even in total darkness...Gen I scope magnifies 2.3x with a wide 13.7 degree field of view. Multi-coated optics. Sturdy, shock resistant aluminum/ABS housing with a comfortable, ergonomic pistol grip handle. Includes carrying case and strap.
It even comes with AA batteries. It's hella cool. I love it.

Re: Bad Ideas Kit
Duct tape (Great stuff!) Electrical tape (just in case) 25 feet of speaker wire (Lots of electrical tampering uses) Knife Thermite Magnesium bar propane torch Epoxy and syringe Several crater makers, or small pipe bombs filled with flashpowder, or BP. (For bigger uses bring a foot long metal pipe-about 2.5 inches OD-filled with double based Bullseye powder detonated with a HMTD, AP or picric acid cap-dont use a fuse) I wouldn't go anywhere without some AP or HMTD and some acetone and SP to plastisice it and a small wooden dowel for packing into places (Locks) Concentrated sulfuric acid (a little more advanced than a key to a car) H20 windproof lighter alternate clothing! Spray paint possibly etc etc etc

Re: Bad Ideas Kit
i usualy scope the town first looking for a project/mssion. i love slipping into my school and rewiring the speakers. on about 5 ocassions i got into my school and rewired the microphone to work fine but after a timed 5minute it will override the mic and boom "fuck you" over the speakers from a remote tape recorder. i had to set it to timed or else it would do that on the mic check which'd ruin it. it has yet to be found.

Re: Bad Ideas Kit
hmmmm, id suggest if crime was intended to keep your inventory to a minimal. The chances are that if you are walking around you will get pulled over.
My advice is dont even think about wraughting without a car (stolen or legit).
In the car dont keep any of your goods sitting there for too long, take trips back to a designated spot to unload often.
Keep tools (you really only need screwdriver, hammer, chisel, pliers and wire snippers) in boot of car, in some sort of toolbox.
Have a licence (we never did but it really comes in handy).
Scanners are a really good idea.
