Re: ATM's
Yeah bring some cetaline and a torch if you want to be pro about it. Or steal a truck with canopy hoping that you can manage so far with a strong chain and hopefully you can figure out the rest.

Re: ATM's
I've got a question about ATMs. There is an ATM that i'm planning on jacking $$$ from but the mother fucker is bolted to the floor. The convenience store where it is located does not have an alarm and closes at midnight. It has a conventional key type lock and i'm wondering if I put liquid nitrogen in that bitch and then ram a screwdriver in there will I gain entry? Thanks a mil...

Re: ATM's
Thats just like the freeon on stuff I was suggesting on pay-phones. It is possible however I would need a look at it to know for sure. How do you know that there is an alarm on it or not. There was this place near school that we thought had no cameras so we all stole shit from it then one day like everyone in the school gets busted turns out they were just letting us so they could have a more impressive case. Those damn hindu cow-prayin bastards are smarter than I thought.

Re: ATM's
I'm pretty sure freon might work for a payphone with 50 bucks worth protecting but an ATM is a lil tougher to crack than a payphone, cut open with cetaline.

Re: ATM's
although you think they don't have an alarm system, i can almost guarentee they do. it's even better for them if you think they don't have an alarm. if everyone knows there's a system, you try to figure out how to crack it. if you think there's no alarm, you'll just take your time. just don't forget to smile, you're on hidden camera.

Re: ATM's
The reason I am 99% sure the convenience store doesn't have an alarm is because my "partner in crime" works there and has to close most nights. And if they have an alarm he would obviously have to set it, right? And another thing to our advantage is that the cameras turn off shortly after midnight so he could use the key to get in and we could do our thing and then lock the door and bust the window when we leave. Now does it seem safer?

Re: ATM's
Ok Shurlock why don't you explain to me why you said no. There can't be a timer either for it to go on because the place closes at 12 but he doesn't leave sometimes until 1:30 because he has to count all the money, restock everything, etc. So why don't you think he'd have to set it? I'm waiting....

Re: ATM's
Because only a moron company would trust a random convenience store clerk to set the alarm on their ATM machines. If the alarm is set to go off when someone tries to break into the machine, why would it need to be turned off? Breaking in isn't part of normal ATM use. Pressing buttons is, and as such, you're probably not going to set anything off going in at 3 am and pressing all the buttons you want. You're also not going to get any money out of it that isn't yours (well, not without someone else's card.. but that's a whole different crime).

Re: ATM's
Oh I see. Well screw the alarm on the machine. I don't care how good of an alarm it is I know it can't stop a cetaline torch. I can't get any liquid nitro in the time frame I need so i'm going to use the torch instead. I was talking about the convenience store having an alarm. I also know that these things have tracking devices on them too so I will need to move like a jack rabbit on amphetamines to avoid getting caught. Sorry I was rude but I thought you meant the alarm in the store. Or even safer if we just left the ATM where it is and used the key to get in the building we could bring the torch inside and one person cut around the lock or something to get in while the other watches for pigs. Do you see any problem with that? Or would the alarm on the ATM still go off even though we weren't trying to move it? Please tell me what you think since it seems aparent that you know quite a bit about ATMs. Thanks...

Re: ATM's
I'm not really any kind of expert, it's just common sense. (BTW, sorry about the misunderstanding- obviously getting into the store would be no problem, so I assumed you meant the ATM). I also don't know precisely how long it would take you to cut through with a torch, but I can't imagine you'd be able to plan on more than 2-3 minutes to get in, grab the loot, and get out. If you could pull that off, you could probably figure out a way to get away with it- but I don't think it's possible to pull it off. Maybe someone with more knowledge of welding, cutting, etc. would know better.

Re: ATM's
one thing i don't think has been mentiond but you would need to think about would be burning the money in the ATM. trying to cut through the steel plates will cause the inside to heat up alot, who knows the ATM people might have designd it so that if you try and cut it open it will obsorbe the heat into the cash box causeing the money to burn or get chrispy so that it could be traced when you try and use it.

Re: ATM's
within the main safe there are cash boxes I think krad mentioned if he didnt. First of all the cash boxes are heat resistent for building fires as well as the safe and with cetaline torch it is a concentrated stream of heat not a flame thrower, the only heat you have to worry about is where you aim the torch. Also if you go in to a place to score an ATM that closes at night providing you dont have the key, climb on the roof and cut the phone lines most places dont have cellular alarms or underground lines but get as much info on the place as possible before hand. Alarms and tracking devices are iffy depending on model, year and how much cash it holds. A truck also works, smash through the door or window and tie a chain around the machine and yank it out, a word of advice most of the newer machines or the ones that hold alot of cash are bolted to the floor of the building but hey nothing a powerful truck and a strong chain cant take care of.

Re: ATM's
As a matter of a fact I read about a great way to snag an atm. Dig this.
1.) One of your friends goes into the kwiki mart and complains that the Atm is Broken, or fucked up somehow.
2.) A few hours later your partners roll up in a minivan. They need convincing uniforms. (Watch and see what your local Atm attendant wears!)
3.) Get out of the Van with a "dolly". Approach the clerk in a Professional manner. Explain that the Atm is malfunctioning(he knows this) and that you need to take it your headquaters. Give the clerk some fake forms to sign, and let him know a replacment ATM will be in, in the morning.
4. Hoist that cash box on the dolly, load it in the van...... and JET!
After that bust the fucker open. I have no idea how... I'm a con, not a safe cracker! Try it, some fuckers have been doing this in my city for a while. The cops still havn't got them.

Re: ATM's
what if its bolted down??? ATMs are meant to be fixed on site and not carried off. Have you ever seen the actual guys carry one off? Belive it or not ATMs aren't all that complicated or hard to repair in an instant provided you have the know how and the keys to the thing.
