... and Classical
Come now people, "who the hells that" Franz Schubert is Franz Schubert! Does anyone like classical music here? Who are your favorites? I like a lot of music from the classical and romantic periods, especially.

Re: ... and Classical
Schubert is a musical giant, like Brahms, or Beethoven, or Haydn, or Mozart. (I'm hoping you've heard of at least one of these men.) In short: he was an Austrian, and lived most of his life in the first quarter of the 19th century.
This is the best midi site for classical composers I've ever seen.

Re: ... and Classical
Dimitri Shostakovitch's symphony number 5 finale in D minor is great. There is just something about the late nineteenth and early twentieth century russian composers Tchikvosky(sp?)had his moments too such as marche slave and 1812 overture.
