Re: Should i buy?
Depends what you're intending to play really.
Personally I like Ibanez's, they have some low priced entry models to... Squiers are ok for learning on but you'll probably quickly want a better guitar.

Re: Should i buy?
Squire and Fender are totally different man. Don't get the two confused.
I'm not really impressed with Fenders instruments these days anyway, and I'm especially not impressed with Squire.
There are better packages like that out there, look around some more/

its an ok package to start off with, but i pretty much guarantee that it wont be long before youre going to want to upgrade to some better gear.

Re: Should i buy?
squire=shit
buy a used no name guitar at a pawn shop or something first, try it out to make sure it works and if it feels comfortable enough go ahead and buy it, that's what i did when i first started. now i have a 1969 fender mustang (made in japan) and it's the best guitar i've ever owned but of course it did cost me 450 dollars.

Re: Should i buy?
Its true, after a while with your Squier you will want a new guitar. I started with a Squier, and it was good for a year, then I started wanting something better. I am now stuck with that piece of shit and still saving.

Re: Should i buy?
squiers are total shit. never buy anything fender or squier. ibanez was a good recomendation as is OP. there are lots of good cheap guitars. i would just go to the store and try out everything, then buy what you like the best not what has the best name, color, or rock star backing it.
