elusive theremin
the theremin is a musical intrument that uses the body's natural electrical capacitance to modulate oscilating radio frequencies to produce a range of tones.
*the original star trek theme was played on the theremin*
anybody know of albums with some good theremin playing? that one portishead is the only one i know of.

Re: elusive theremin
jimmy page uses one on the middle part of whole lotta love by led zeppelin. you see him goin crazy on it on the song remains the same movie. he also uses it a little on no quarter i think. theremin is like the main instrument in good vibrations by the beach boys too.

Re: elusive theremin
of course the unfinished smile album by the beach boys used it on good vibrations. i think brian wilson used it in pet sounds too. air has done some pretty cool stuff with the theremin. i saw on the hbo show "reverb" cornelius (japanese pop star) used it during his performance when he opened for the flaming lips. i wish i had a theremin.
