Re: german rock
Sheesh. There's lots. Die Aerzte, Toten Hosen, and Boese Onkels. If you want good Rock/Metal bands that sing in english yet are from Germany, Edguy and Blind Guardian.

Actually, Die rzte, Toten Hosen, and Bsen Onkels are all not as heavy as Rammstein. They're rock, but a lot of it kinda sounds like Punk almost. I'm going to Germany the day after tomorrow... I'll let you know if I hear anything else.

Re: german rock
Um, he was asking for "German ROCK groups" and I listed some. Bsen Onkels are not punk, trust me on that. Rammstein is WAY overrated, I used to be a big fan, till I realised their lyrics blow, and they lack talent. Die rzte and Toten Hosen do have their share of heavy songs, and they aren't punk either. I grew up listening to these bands and I can tell you none of them are punk.
And asaq, if you e-mailed Rammstein asking them about other German rock groups, do you really think they would respond? Uh, no.

Re: german rock
Rammstein, Megaherz, Die rtze, Die totehosen (not really heavy rock), Knorkator, Eisheilig, oomph!, Stahlhammer, terrorgruppe, Einstrzende Neubauten, Wizo, Tanzwut, Weiglut (silber), und so weider..
Those are some of my favorites. When it comes to German rock, I can usually name off a few good bands.

Re: german rock
What does the lyrics matter if the music is genius, i dont listen to the lyrics unless its some genius lyrics. A very underestimated band who should be ruling so much: Faust
