Why is it that almost all my favorite songs have been written by those under the influence of a controlled substance (drugs)?! Nirvana (Kurt Cobain) I like every single one of his songs (except for two-three of em) Alice in Chains, Eminem, and so on....

and since it seems they are all on something... is it the drugs that make them so creative in the lyrics and music?

I don't know about you , but when I use drugs I get in a different state of mind . That has something to do with it .

yeah of course, lol thats what they do. but still i cant see how they can write such amazing songs/ lyrical content... id love to be able to write songs and i would if i were on something but i doubt i could ever make it good.
