Decent Albums?
Can anyone reccomend any decent rap albums. I do not have much money and so don't want to buy a CD to find out it's not to my taste. Also, does anyone else think singles are overpriced. I have bought no more than 3 singles ever and do not intend to buy many more. I think they are a complete con.
P.S I do listen to other types of music as well but I tend to prefer rap, so there is less chance of me not liking it, and wasting my money.

Re: Decent Albums?
The Chronic should be owned even if you're not a rap fan, for track 10: The $20 Sack Period..
"Uh, I know snoop....uh..Dre's gonna do my music!!
"Oh, things niggas say to get the pussy!!"

Re: Decent Albums?
If you like rap etc then listen to Massive Attack and Prodigy. Mezzanine and Fat of the Land (respectively) show that so much more can be done with hip-hop type stuff than just rapping over a casio backbeat and a sample or two. The first album is beautiful, trip-hoppy beats intelligently layered with guitars, synths, raps and stunning female vocals, and the second is a hip-hop/dance/rock hybrid monster of an album that you just can't ignore. Alternatively, ignore me like everyone else and I'll bugger off.
