I first didn't want to post here after seeing all those posts of some wannabes who listen to shit like slipknot because Ozzy or some other guru said so. (of course I'm KIDDING but I know a bunch of people who listen to this kind of music because it's hip or cool  ) The music you gave examples of is not bad I guess but what really hits the spot for me is (in no particular order): Herbie Hancock Miles Davis Jean Michel Jarre Coil Aphex Twin besides that I like: Tangerine Dream, Marcus Miller and dozens others but I don't have too much listening material from them to call them my favorites NOTE: List is object to change without notice :-) Edit: Damn, how the hell could I forget Terje Rypdal, Nils Petter Molvaer and Jan Garbarek?
