Irish Anyone?
I saw and old episode of SNL a couple of months ago and since it was St. Patricks day they had an actually Irish Rock band called The Pogues. So I went a searching for their songs and was instantly a fan. Songs about drinking and life sucking just like good ol' rock. The only problem Is I can't find any more Irish rock bands. Anyone out there know of some?

Re: Irish Anyone?
There aren't many Irish rock bands that record and release stuff, but there's a load of local ones in my city. Search for 'The Dubliners'...

Sleater-Kinney(I think they are Irish) they are also riot-grrl/indie/punk, and are fucking sexy.

Re: Irish Anyone?
Anyone notice how it kind of sounds like German folk music, and at the same time as elements of Tejano?

Re: Irish Anyone?
First off Sleater Kinney is not an Irish band.
And yes, they are sexy.
O how I love Corin Tucker.
Second of all Flogging Molly kicks ass. But, whenever I mention them no one ever has any clue who I'm talking about.
Cheers, Lost
