Very recently, i heard music from this British ambient/indusytrial/techno/etc./etc. group, and it's fucking awesome. One of my friend's had a mix CD that he burned with a bunch of random songs from random albums. Whjat a wonderful group. I want to maybe purchase one of their CD's, and since they are fairly expensive (about $25 imported to america from england), i want to know which ones are goods albums, so i don't get off to a bad start with coil. thank you...

I got Musick to Play in the Dark volume 1, and i downloaded a bunch of random tracks from other CD's, they're all fucking awesome. I don't really like their old stuff, it's more sort of fast-beat, technoey stuff, but i love their newer stuff, it's really mellow and eerie. One of my friends was telling me about them, and he said that they put in tones that you can't hear, but get picked up by your sub-concious, and it changes your brain wave-lengths, and makes you feel kind of high while listening to it. I was wondering if this is true... please tell me any information about them that you can, thank you.

Yeah Coil's good. One of the dudes from Coil was in Psychic TV and Throbbing Gristle before. Throbbing Gristle was like one of the first industrial groups ever. Or maybe the first.
