Agreed that rock bands don't surface like they used to, but nobody hear is gonna take YOU seriously. Dance, electronica? I'd rather let someone blast an airhorn in my ear, it's less annoying and mind-numbing (and requires much more musical talent).

baked listed all the good heavy metal bands and i am also a big fan of the classics more classic rock then heavy metal like jimi hendrix and pink floyd and i also like black sabbath

Baked's list was the worst one i've ever seen, it listed every band that has ever ruined metal, except for possibly kittie,
A REALLY good band is Iced Earth, other good ones are imagika, blind guardian, iron savior, rhapsody, helloween, Very old megadeth/metallica, Nightwish (if your looking for a different style of metal) umm...yngwie malmstein, Also i suggest you get a cd called Demon's and Wizards

I agree, baked's list fucking blows. nu-metal = shit. I can listen to Godsmack, occasionally Tool, and at one time I liked one of PM5Ks songs (not anymore) and all the rest are fucking horrible. Fuck nu-metal.

hold up, how was KoRn fake? true, they sold out, big time. but they came up with all their music, didnt steal it, and it was good.
