Re: The new Tool Album; Nirvana ripoff
i agree with white witch... let us know what you are talking about.. if you are referring to the entire cd, then maybe it sounds alike to it, but im sure they did not intend it to. another point is that if you LIKED that nirvana cd, then you probably should like this, too because, musically, tool has much more talent.

Re: The new Tool Album; Nirvana ripoff
I never got Nirvana. I mean i dont understand why they were such a popular band. They sound like a garage band. a band i would pay 3 bucks at a local club to see on a thursday night. Pearl Jam sounded more professional. and tool is just Odd. a good band though.

Tool couldn't produce anything culturally significant if they tried.

You never got Nirvana??? Nirvana was one of the most excellent bands around in their time. Smells Like Teen Spirit, Territorial Pissings, listen to a few of them. -anarchy476 ------------------ It's hard to stay between the lines of skin. Re: The new Tool Album; Nirvana ripoff
I've listened to Lateralus about 7 or 9 times, yet i don't see where you might confuse them or accuse them of having anything to do with nirvana. completely different. i'd say they are the american version of radiohead, though much heavier.
not even the guitars or part of percussion seemed to anything like nirvana's.
