Hell yeah. Mudvayne is some bad ass shit. Ryknow is amazing. I play bas, and that's some really hard shit he plays. He keeps it real. He's on up there at the top with the best of the bassist's like les claypool and flea. Mudvayne kicks ass!

Their tattoos are fake. The guys back at the label thought slipknot made alota money so why not round up another buncha morons looking for a quick 4 million.

their drummer doesn't completely suck. he can do some basic double bass work- no john stainer but hell, they guy can play well enough to get a contract.

Ok, so they were represented bad, i dissed them at first;BUT i got a chance to check them out live on Mtv2 for an hour long concert and they are a fuckin good live band. Their singer can really SING and not just scream(though he does that well too) as can the guitarist.

For a beggining 4 piece modern metal outfit they have everything commercially desired, but they are legit. If you read the latest(or maybe it was the one before the latest) guitar world it has an extensive interview with the band where in part of it, right as they are about to hit it big one of them comes into a rehersal and pops in a slipknot tape and another says- FUCK, we're always five fuckin minutes late.

yeah.. basic double bass stuff that takes about a month or two to learn... i guess im just pissed off because the norm level for musicians is going completely to shit. hell, most rock drummers completely suck in comparison to jazz ad other more complecated musical styles. just makes me bitter that rock hasnt gone anywhere close and it damn well should. (there are ovious exeptions to what i just said.. Niel Peart, the tool drummer... but even they could be better, ithink.)

I bought the Mudvayne album. There are a few good songs. #4 is good for most of it. #5 is good all the way through. #8 is good for about 20 seconds. Otherwise, it sucks. I didn't like the song dig very much, but I did like the music video. They aren't the best of bands, but they have awsome appearence and shock affect. They could make a christain keel over. hehe. Even though I am a modern metal fan, ie. Korn, Slipknot, Rammstein, I am a 70's to 80's fan at heart.
