Re: DJz Pleaz !!!
I'm not a DJ.. I've been to two clubs (once each) in my life.. didn't dance a step at either.. but I do have one good song for you (and everyone else, there's probably someone that hasn't heard of it). "Spin Spin Sugar", by the Sneaker Pimps, Moby remix. It might be the most popular dance song anywhere, I wouldn't know, so if this is a 'duh' kind of thing, my apologies. But I'm a huge Sneaker Pimps fan, so I had to say something.. Also good is "Motorcrash" by the Sugar Cubes. [This message has been edited by Spiffy McBang (edited 04-18-2001).]

Re: DJz Pleaz !!!
uhh i got a friend that has sum turntables, there a awsome he cant really do anything on them mainly kus he has only like 4 vinyls but anyway i have messed around on them and they whip ass,uhh i was looking into getting me sum but then i decided that i am gona get a bass guitar but now i might get a sound system fer my car, i donno...but i have never messed around with cd players with tha vinyl sounds but it sounds like they are super tyght kus i mean you could pop in a cd and and scratch o it and another thing about them is that cd's are more avalible and you can make you own cd's with these software programs and then burn them on a cd and make yur own music.

Re: DJz Pleaz !!!
if you have a problem beatmixing you can get mixers with led indicators pulling the beat from the turntable. in my opinion vynle is far superior to cd 1: its a better media i don't feel the satisfaction of mixes working with cds it feels to automated. 2: you can't lay down any good fx with cd like spinbacks scratching etc. 3: vynls worth more and ages more gracefully than cd. if you wanna hear some superb mixing and scratching get dj assault's "straight up detroit shit vol 4". Good artists Photec, autechre, underground resistance, subhead(look out for a tune on napster "subhead remixes (dave tarrida)!!s" i only managed to get half of it but its superb), scan 7, aux 88, dopplereffekt, drexciya, the hacker, surgeon, takkyu ishino(great japanese techno), green velvet (look out for a tune called flash), I-f, jeff mills, japanese telecom or 808 state. all good stuff but most of its really dark techno or euro electro it may not be your scene.

Re: DJz Pleaz !!!
I personally use CD players because of, as you said, you can burn cd's... i would recommend cd players to start coz they are cheaper and buying cds is cheaper than buying vinyl... vinyl is fun but the only real advantage, apart from the occaisional scratch (unless your a hip hop dj u always scratch) is that you get underground music earlier! beat counters dont really work very well... but yeh.... Well keep in mind if u do want dj equipment u need: 2 turntables slipmats stylus mixer amp speakers heaphones... its pretty expensive to get started dont start unless u really like it i reckon ------------------ r3M|_4[]D|\|4yR

Voodoo & serano - Blood is pumping (Club mix).mp3 is good

Re: DJz Pleaz !!!
Propellerhead makes the coolest music progs out there!!! I have got the full version of rebirth 2, but didnt download it...
Im still searching for Reason! The crack which kills the time limitation (search for Reason on www.astalavista.box.sk ) is okay, but without being able to save your work, it makes no sense to build big machines with selfmade matrix patterns... It would be cool if anyone knows where to download a version without any limitations!
Does anybody have the original version? Perhaps he could put the proggie without the soundbank into a myspace folder! It shouldnt be bigger than 20mb and I think there are a lot people searching for it!

Re: DJz Pleaz !!!
Virtual turntables is okay... good for basic mixing and beatmixing Steal mix is okay as well same sorta thing but it has a nice interface but the best mixing prog ive found is called Mix Vibes Pro you can donload it from cnet.com its a good mixing prog.... doing it properly on some decks is easier though coz u can fade real quick whilst pressing play/cue or whatever...
