i think that Nirvana is one of the best bands ever along with the Pixies. Nirvana is putting out a new box set in September on the anniversary of Nevermind.

Nirvana were and to me still are one of the most influencing and talented bands there was. They weren't just talented in that they could actually PLAY their instruments, but they never ventured off into the mainstream. I love slipknot and Korn, but lets face it, they just love the money. A class Nirvana site i found is www.completenirvana.co.uk but theres loads more if you can be bothered to search. whats all you nirvana fans favourite song? mine is either Moist Vagina, Downer or Serve the Servants.

Kurt rocked. They're one of the best bands I have ever heard. They were talented, fresh, and most of all, their music covered a range of styles, from the mosh-worthy smells like teen spirit, to the chill-out/oh my god I'm gonna slash my wrists stuff like polly, heart-shaped box and something in the way, to the unplugged showcase of talent that was Unplugged in NY (and yes I know that wasn't all their stuff...).

All in all, they totally rocked.
