of course we also can't forget the ninja turtles, ghostbusters, star wars, space balls, bill & ted movies, FREAKED (hard to find but funny as hell), lord of the rings...

Also, on the advice of William White's DXM faq, I found a copy of Koyaanisqatsi. That film is very good trip fodder.

For those of you that like Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, try Where the Buffalo Roam. More Thompson madness, only Bill Murray takes the lead this time. It lacks the direct (and so perfect) excerpts from the text that make FaLiLV so colorful, but it still grabs your ass and takes you on a drug-riddled ride.

I watched the wall when I was tripping on shrooms and it was scary and I started crying... It is NOT a good movie for tripping lol.

"Naked Lunch" is an interesting one.
It is, however, an alternative production. So if you're looking for "Hollywood" you won't like it.

lots of great films mentioned...some movies that have nothing to do really with drugs but are fucking awsome are Office Space, Fight Club, and any stanely kubric...drug movies...requiem for a dream, if you have never seen this, go rent it...now, or read the book...Grass,traffic...in the trippy ass cartoon section there is...Fantastic planet(trippy me out more than the wall), and i married a strange person...fantastic planet is on the throttle box thing, and i married a strange person is on IFC every now and then...also if you like to read anything by william burroughs is good, my favorite is junky, and i just finished exterminator!

(ps. i dont know where to get throttle box, but it has a few other movies on it...i have only seen it on TV once and that was like a year ago)

There's a lot...But the two best I can think of are Requiem for a Dream (Excellent movie) and Groove.

groove isnt really about drugs, but i really like it...dude didnt we smoke a bowl on the beach together...sparks up a joint.."nah i aint doing any drugs tonight"

Oh Jesus...I forgot. Kids. There's also others. Clerks is funny as shit stoned, or when sober. Black Hawk Down, not drug related, but still fuckin' awesome when stoned. I first saw it stoned. I didn't even realize what was goin' on until like half way through it. I was like "Oh...they're fucked". Hmm, lemme think. How High was pretty good. I guess I'll add one other. Not drug related...not even a movie, but the Clerks animated series is the best when high.

Drug store cowboy. This movie has one of the best descriptions of an IV opiate rush I have ever heard.

The first time I ever tried large amount of DXM we rented Requiem for a Dream..somehow it actually made sense. Good drug movie.

holy most of those movies aren't even truly drug themed.

i agree on FALILV and where the buffolo roam also from hell, human traffic altered states(really fucking tripped out movie)
