hey, im kinda new to smoking weed, only smoked a few times before with friends, i bought some weed off a friend and was curious if it was any good so i took a pic and thought maybe someone here could give me some advice, they said its almost 2 grams and i got it for $30.. so links below, please tell me what you think

If that is some mid it should be alright but 30 for not even a half quarter of swag is a rip off.

I seen stuff thats looked better for cheaper, but I'd have to ask do you personally think it was worth $30? The only way to really justify the price of anything in my opinion would be based on how effective it is at its job. Did it get you ripping high? If so, then hell yeah!

looks like u got ripped , here in canada a gram is 10$ , so "almost 2 grams" would be about 20$ CANADIAN, if u payed 30$ for that , i really feel sorry for u. well from where i am , no matter what quality the bud is , one gram is 10$ no matter what.

where i live great weed (chronic, KB, whatever u wanna calls it) is 20 bucks a gram - and my friend has good hookups so he gets big 20 bags

Sounds like you're all getting ripped off. Are you all like 14 and just started smoking? I mean you Americans got an excuse I know weed's more expensive there, but here in BC, Canada I can get really good weed for a maximum price of $5 a gram and usually cheaper even.

I'm sorry to say...but judging by the size of the weed you got I would say that is just under 1 gram. The baggie to the left seems to be a 'dime' baggie (relative to the size of the nickel in the picture) and a dime is only a gram.

For two grams you would probably need to fill two of those baggies completely full. Also, $30 for a gram = rip off.

looks light, dont know, could have potential to be chronic, to pricy though, 2 grams should NOT be more then 20 bucks, for 30 bucks i get 4 grams.in CANADA

To me it sounds like youre all getting really really really ripped off...I pay about 30$ for 7 1/2 grams of some calif redbud...here 7 1/2 grams is standard for a 1/4...maybe its just because i dont buy that little amounts of weed...not sure, people around here dont sell anything less than an 8th..

Unless it's very very good, you got ripped. I wouldn't pay that much for a gram, no matter how good.

Then again, i paid 20 pounds ('round 36 dollars) for half an ounce of purple haze, and that's the most i've ever paid, so most things seem like a rip off unless they are free to me

PS - is it just me, or do people in america sell in grams?! I've never sold in grams, well, maybe like...30 grams, but never in 1 or 2 grams..

people in america sell in grams. it costs less to buy more, but people do sell in grams. round where i live i can get a gram for 20 bucks and an eigth for 50. and that is KB.

Hmmmm..... I can see a major difference in our areas atleast... because I can buy a good 10 grams for $30, and that's pure nugs no shake like most of what you've got there. A good 3-4 buds bigger than that quarter there is what I got for $30. I find it quite odd that prices differ so drastically.

You'd be surprised Billowz how much you can pack into those baggies.

Looks like you got 1.5 - 2 grams of shake. I believe you paid way more then you should have. Of course, I don't know where you live. Which brings me to another point...

What the hell is up with everyone saying they pay all these high prices for weed? I can get 5g for $20 and 12.5g for $40 and I don't even look for good prices usually.

it's hard to tell if u got ripped off cause it all depends on where you live, availability, quality and all that good stuff man. $30 for that? seems like you got a shortage in your town man, cuz you should have payed around $8 and at the MOST $12. it would be one thing if that was ACTUALLY two grams, but judging by the NICKEL beside it i doubt THAT is two grams man. that shit is all chopped up and that tumor of a stem probably padded the bill a bit too.

here in TORONTO, we get 0.8 of a gram (ONE DIME) for $10 and if you know the dealer you can usually get around a gram for the same price. and for that price you can get some surprisingly good quality kwanik. but, the BC guy is right man. i cant remember what he said but i remeber he made a good point.

on second thought, that weed looks SHITTY man, its lacking in HAIRS or fuking ANYTHING. i picked up some weed very similar to that and it took around 1.5 grams to get me stoned man.

so, wat did we learn today? that weed is LOW quality, low weight, and over priced. dont sweat it though man we all got ripped off sometime. you'll learn to know what to look for in a good buy.

also, what i noticed in high scholls is that most of the dealers themselves arent even sure what a dime should be. you can often trick them into giving you extra or in your current situation, the right amount.

well looks like i got ripped off, most people around here, or at least the ones i know dont know shit about weed, prices are high and seems like no one knows how to weigh their shit, i guess im gonna have to try to find some people that know what their talking about, most people dont know any strains of weed its either "dro" or "mad/really good shit". i smoked a bowl of that stuff i had last night and it got me pretty ripped, what i have left will prolly last me a couple more times so $30 i see now was quite a lot, thanks for posts.. peace
