Ummm so yeah, the biggest fear i have with pot is not brain cells being killed, not be becoming lazy or dumb, its being caught by the police. Has anyone here been caught by them, if so what happend and how do u recommend avoiding such a occasion.

To avoid...Don't smoke near a cop?

I just got my joint taken off me, with a warning, true for small ammounts, you usually get fined though.

Dunno bout USA, but some parts it's legal if you have a prescription.

Up here in canada it's practiclly legal, cops smoke it too, i would know, my dad is a cop and he smokes me up. Yeah!!

Ya ive never had any trouble with the cops, over any drugs. As a matter of fact there as been plenty of times cops have pulled me and my buds over and ive been totally wasted with tracks down my arms.

The closest i have ever come to being busted was when i went off to a hook-ups house. Well it turned out that they were raided by the cops about a half an hour before i went there. The door was all kicked in and shit. Now wouldnt that be a situation, to be in the middle of a deal as the cops bust in . That usually isnt a problem though, i was just pretty much in the ghetto of my town where the cops know the hard drugs flow.

marijuana doesnt kill brain cells and doesnt make people dumb. however, it might make you lazy.

i've never been caught by the cops, but i have run from a cop that lives in my neighborhood with my friends at night and i was extremely stoned, i couldnt hop a short chain link fence in my first 2 attempts, but i was really glad my friends waited for me to make it over. due to my stonage i thought i was gonna die or get caught when i wasnt making it over the fence. the scary part was it was dark out and we were sitting in an elementary school field and i had hendrix on my headphones and we were sitting in a circle blazing from a homemade bong when a bright light shined on us from the distance. i didnt know if it was a ghost or alien or cop or what but we all ran like hell, all stoned. thinking about it after it happened, its funny, but at the time was mad scary and exciting. a few days later, the cop asked my friend who had the bong if he was at the field or if he knew anything about it. my friend just said he didnt know what the guy was talking about.

here is a story about police. my friend has a brother who is in college and was home from college. his bro and his bro's friends were smoking out a car when police came. the police made them dump out all their weed and step on it, and then made my friend's bro break his bowl (which he was borrowing from his little bro, my friend). my friend's bro threw the bowl at the cop's feet and was really angry. after that i think the cops just left.

a good thing for me is the county i live in has the lowest amount of marijuana arrests per 100,000 people out of all of NY state. an example is what happened to my friend's brother. if you arent lucky like me, and cops are dicks about weed near u, then that sucks. i wish it was like in canada where people can smoke wherever and cops dont care (well, at least according to members of this forum).
