I have an average bowl, and i was wondering, about how much pipe/bowl resin do i actually need to do the thing with acetone and get a pretty high THC concentration? thanks

Most people don't smoke their resin until a drought comes up. And any other time than that is because you can't hit the pipe because the resin is blocking the airflow. A really small amount of resin is needed to get high due to the fact that it's so concentrated. But then again, don't be gay and scrap your pipe after every smokedown. Peace.

If you have a water bong or sumthin with a glass tube connected to your bowl that you can detatch, you can smoke it by heating the tube with a lighter and puffing on the other side (like smokin crank). this can be done with some pipes too.

Don't use acetone to clean your pipes people. Acetone is a poisonous solvent, and I am pretty sure that if you use it to remove your resin, the resin will hold some of the acetone even after the acetone has evaporated. Some residue is almost certainly left behind, and when you go to smoke the resin, guess what. You are inhaling acetone, yeah. Instead of acetone, scrape your pipe with some type of tool if you want to smoke the resin. After you collect your resin, or if you just want to clean the pipe withou smoking, you can use grain alcohol to soak your piece. The reason you don't just soak it to get all the resin out, is because THC is alcohol soluable, and the alcohol will remove some of the resin, and consequentialy you will not get as high. Also, if you don't want to smoke the resin, you could let the resin sit in the grain alcohol for a few days, then strain out the resin, and drink the alcohol and get high.

You can get pretty high off resin, but in my experience smoking resin is just no where near as good as smoking weed. but its better tan being sober

wrong when the acetone evaporates there is no more acetone

Don't bother, the resin will make the weed you smoke more powerfull anyways, so just keep it in there.

let the resin build up until theres a whole lot,then soak the piece in alchohol.use a toothpick or something to scrape it out into the alchohol bath.scrape out as much as you can.then evaporate the alchohol,and use the resin to either coat rolling papers in or coat your buds with it. or you could put some on a cigarette and smoke it. or if you wanna be a feind about it you can smoke it off aluminum foil like meth or heroin.

hm. if you evaporate all of the alchohol you will be left with the same amount of THC.

scraping [glass] pipes is annoying!

soak it in alchohol [like ballin said] and evaporate the alchohol in the bottom of a styrofoam cup.

Scraping the resin with a metal tool is the most common way to get it out, but if you're really serious about yield you could do the alcohol thing (I recommend methanol over isopropanol). Just make sure all the alcohol has evaporated away before you smoke the residue. The easiest and least messy way to smoke resin is to use a piece of brillo to scrape the pipe, then just pop it in a crack pipe and smoke it just like you would crack.

the best thing to do with it is smoke it outta rolling paper.

my heavy smoking friend actually collected a resin wad about the size of a golf ball. He used that when it was reaL dry

It's good to give yer pipe a cleanin once the resin starts to build up. I once half-filled a small tin with resin.

Bad thing about smokin it in a pipe (esp. mine which gets blocked real easy) is when yer tokin, and it gets blocked so you suck really hard and ya get hot rocks.
