is it possible to make a weed tea? id assume so, but ive never tried it. i havent smoked in a while, but id like to start again, maybe even drink a lot of tea ;-)

anyway, anyone ever done it?

it is possible and easy peasy lemon squeesy.

THere are many methods here Is mine, take a tea bag, cut it open at the top take all the tea out and fill it with finely crumbled bud.

Tie the bag back up with string, take a second tea bag and let them both bew together in some boiling water, the longer you leave it the stronger it'll get.

Then make your cup of tea as normal

yep... its real easy, just like adihash said.

theres actually a little device that people use for non-bagged tea... this little thing is perfect for weed tea. chop up the bud, put it in the "teaball" and drop it in.

the first time I made weed tea, I got really high on just half a mug and spilled the rest all over my keyboard... bad news, that.

i thought THC wasn't soluble into water? the only ways i've heard of to make weed tea is to use ehtyl alcohol, and then you get the alcohol thing too instead of just weed.

yeah sorry but thc isnt water soluble so it wont work so whoever said it did or said they did it is lieing

THC isn't water soluble, but the heat melts the THC out of the bud and it gets in the water... it probably floats in a film on the top or something. I dunno, but I got wrecked.

the thing that is actually infused is cannabis oil, no THC content.

though, it probably does melt some of the THC [without killing some as flame would do]

what's the temp of [less than] boiling water?

maybe it would work if you put some oil or melt some butter in the water

well, really if you're going to go to that extent i'd cook the butter/oil seperately and then add...

but that'd be RANK!


meta posted a recipe for hash cocoa a while ago...

[it involved putting a piece of tin foil with a bit of hash on it in cocoa and stirring until the hash dissolved, and drinking.]

Boiling water is 100�... so slightly less is 99�.

Thats like 210 or something in �F, i think.

Try it and tell me I'm lying, If you brew it properly you will notice there is not much left in the tea bag. So where did it go? Did the magic fairys take the bud? Noooo its in the tea.

THC just isn't water soluble and that's that. It's not possible. I have a friend who tried it and she said it didn't work at all.

right, THC is soluble in non-polar solvents.Water is a polar solvent so therefore THC isn't soluble in water.

boiling is 212 Farenheight. So the tea would be like 200 or soo. It might absorb some THC.

212F is sub vaporizating temp., so therefore it would not smell.

[wait, nevermind, it may smell, because of it's cannabis oil content.

note: cannabis oil does not contain THC.]

i just wanted to say.. i put about 2 grams in a fuckin regular sized mug about 2 nites ago. (i was gonna start this thread) well no tea bag for me... i put the bud in water, and microwaved it for like 3 minutes... it was fuckin hot. and let it sit for about 20 mins...i put in 2 spoons of sugar, and stirred. it was barley green. but the vaor smelled like bud. i drank it. and ate the weed. i didnt feel a god damned thing! whats the way to make tea that works, and doesnt waste my dank. like i did 2 nites ago.

It does work if you do it like Adi and I said... you folks may have had some bad experiences, but I've certainly had some good. It can work, I know from experience.

When i make my hash i take my bud and put it i cold water and strian it. if you do the same and just boil it. That should work.

Take your kettlepot and put either some milk or some cooking oil into the kettlepot. Now take your Bud and put it in their with the water and boil. Put the bud into a empty tea-bag and then fold the top and staple it. Spread your bud into about 3-5 differnt tea bags and then put all of them in the pot and put the lid on. Stir a few times each minute.

btw, marijuana hot chocolate is better!

maybe if you get a bud or just a shit load of leaf or what fucking ever and dried it out till it cant be dried any more and then grind it in a mortar and pestle til it is like a powder and then stick the powder in ur tea and stir then u will be drinking the thc and there fore letting it be absorbed into your body and still tasting that wonderfull herrb. ps eat the dregs.

i work a 9 hour shift tomorrow. so i should grind up the bud finely. than use a tea bag and staple and seal it shut. than ill put some oil in a kettle. and cook the bud. than i put water in there and let it steep?

Why bother with all this?

Smoke it, it's much easier and more effective.

personally,i'd say to take a bag of chocolate chips,melt them,put some finely ground bud in the melted chocolate,stir,and let it cook for a few minutes.stir it a lot so nothing burns. then put the chocolate on a cookie sheet and stick it in the freezer.

i never tried it,but it seems like it should work. theres a lot of oils and fats in chocolate.

I have never drunk weed tea although I have had opium tea and its more effective in the tea...I dunno why.

jumpunderaboat it is more stronger because it is entering your blood stream at a much more concentrated form and alot more of it too.
