Whoa, whoa, whoa. How about some mg info... And yeah, a vic experience usually lasts about 4 hours, but thats only when the relaxtion part ends. For about another 2 hours, the happiness stays. Do not eat anything atleast 4 hours prior to taking the pills, and do not drink anything acid based (i.e. pop - ESPECIALLY coca-cola!) and if you can, take something like tums, or something that calms your stomach before you take the pills. It will lower/weaken the acid in your stomach causing the pills to take longer to digest.

Body numbing? Doesn't do that for me.

In fact, no opiates that I've tried give me that type of feeling.

And also, assuming they're just regular 5 mg pills, don't be surprised if they don't do much. 10 mg of hydrocodone may work great for pain relief, but it may not doo much else.

Wow for fucks sake 4 or 5 hours!! 8 pills (ex) keep me up for 2 or 3 and then happy for another 2, but well that could be becuase of my tolerance and use of stronger opiods. I cant really remmber how long they use to last me when i first got into it. But i remmber the first time i got loaded on vicoden at school it kept me high for two periods wich was about 140 minutes. Oxy use to keep me high for hours though, if i used it now it would be time to eat more an hour later to stay mildly fucked up.

The vicoden, should last approx. 3 hrs. The smaller dosage pills(5/500, and 7.5/500)will give a minor buzz, but if you are given the 10mg size, two should give a moderate opiate buzz, characterized by slight euphoria, and maybe some minor nausea too if you are inexperienced with opiates. The medication will not give you a "numb" sensation, as that is not how opiates work. The pain relieving properties are due to the opioid receptor sites being binded and flooded with opiates. This in turn causes the brain to change the way it percieves pain. You still feel the sensation, but it will be secondary, almost a ghostly distraction to the intense signals the brain sends when there are no opiates or endorphins. Chemical transmiter signals are reduced when opiates are present, which deprives the affected nerves of the pain signals the brain would normaly send. This is basicaly in laymans terms how opiates affect pain relief without getting technical. Good luck and have fun with your opiate experience. Just remember that these drugs usually bite recreational users in the ass quicker than they realize.
