i have a few simple weed questions

1)how do u tell weed apart, wat should i look far wen looking at weed

2)how does good week smell like, like is there a certain smell to look for

3)does the qaulity of weed affect ur high or anything, or is the quality just so u do less

Weed is very noticable, i cant really tell you buy looks but marijuana has a distinct strong smell. Have you heard of "skunk" used in weed terms. Well there ya go it doesnt smell like a skunk but it has a distinct smell like one. Anyways the quality of weed, if its high quality you get a really really good high, medium quality (best to start on for a first time smoker, its what im starting on right now) it just gets you a nice high and low quality i guess is ok.

Tell it appart from what? Weed looks like clumps [in all different sizes] of green stuff. Sometimes it'll have some white powder on it, or maybe some little red hairs in it.

It smelles like weed. I can't explain the smell, but it has a very distinct odor. Before you buy your weed or whatever, take a whiff of some oregano just so you dont end up buying that. It also has a distinct odor.

If the strains are the same then the quality will not effect the type of high, but yes, just how high you get. Better quality, means you smoke less and waste less money. HOWEVER sometimes bad quality doesn't simply mean low grade weed. Sometimes bad quality refers to weed thats been laced [sprayed] with chemicals and other toxic agents. Ask specifically, no, demand to know whether or not the weed was sprayed with ANYTHING. And if it was, don't listen to the person if they say 'its okay to smoke'. And the better the quality, the less chance of it having been laced with anything.

Edit: The red hairs and white powder are signs of good quality weed. The white powder are the resin glands, which is hat gets you high. Weed that has lots of visible resin glands is obviously much better then weed that doesnt. As for red hairs, I'm not exactly sure what they are in plant terms, but I can say weed with red hair is usually better.

let me rephrase the first 2 questions

1)wen u look at weed, wat is the differnce in apperence to lets say danx or purple haze, like wat little things does each "type" have

2)how do u tell apart something like danx a purple haze for example.
my friends are able to know wat type of weed it is jus by looking and smelling it, i would also like to have this ability

Those thigns you just learn to do in time. As you smoke different kinds of weed a lot, you start to remember what each looks or smells like.

And if they're saying its DANK that just means good weed. And purple haze isnt hard to identify.

Just ask your friends to look at your weed when you buy it then they can tell you what kind it is since they are experienced from what you said. Thats what i did with the weed i got friday, i just asked my friend to check it out who has been smoking for a long time. Most the time the dealer wont sell you something fake but you never know so be careful.

the stronger smelling the weed is, the better it is.
the more orange hairs, the better it is.
the more white small crystals, the better it is.

this page on erowid.org has good pictures of weed in little baggies which u will probably be buying.

oh ya, you probly dont have to worry about someone selling you slavia(or legal weed) because its more expensive and the dealer would just be losing money. The pictures on erowid.org are very good pictures and they show what most of the bud looks like.

Ive never heard of someone sellign salvia in place of weed. Theyre two completely different drugs!

Salvia divinorum isn't more expensive than marijuana! Where did you pick that up? Good quality bud ABSOLUTELY DOES NOT mean you have to smoke less to get high.

nope.
though, very often, good weed will have one or the other. [or both]

the hairs and crystals certainly add to the beauty of the weed, but definatly not the performance.

hairs are not, in any way, a way to tell if your weed is good.

though crystals may tell you something.
if the weed has a lot of crystals it may be good, but you don't know if it's been sitting in sunlight for however long.

the only way to tell is to smoke it.
