if you've got access to either that fish aquarium pipe stuff, or pipe stuff from a hospital nebulizer would be even better ... i have a novel way of making a bong

get a length of the tubing aboug a metre, have it long or short - i have it long for the convenience of being able to have it lit for me sometimes, and other things.
grab say a gatorade bottle, whatever it is it doesnt have to be fancy. burn a hole with a jet lighter small enough for the piping about 1/3 way from the bottom. Feed some of the piping inside the bottle, enough to wrap around inside several times, but make sure other end of the hose is at the bottom. make another hole on the same side at the top, near the mouthpiece.
Now if you've used a nebulizer fitting, you can use the piece that fits into the face mask as a perfect sized conepiece holder, which should fit nicely into the end of the hose, for easy extraction.

if all goes to plan, you should have a fairly kewl bong. You can even leave the lid on - with a little bit more hose you can feed it back through a hole in the top and make a good mouthpiece or something for it, just another way of making smoking fun.
