Re: storing/"shelf life" of mushrooms
Well if they're fresh, then not that long...but if they are dried out I'm not too sure

Re: storing/"shelf life" of mushrooms
I recently found a few grams of mushrooms that i purchased in the summer sometime. I thought their potency would have dropped dramitically, so I downed the whole bag all at once. An hour later I found my brain in the all-too-familiar state of confusion, and had to sit down and try to figure out what I was going to do now that I was tripping. So you could probably store them in smoething airtight for at least 6 months.

Re: storing/"shelf life" of mushrooms
Store them in honey and they will be good forever, this is true.

Re: storing/"shelf life" of mushrooms
They will never break down in the honey and tolerance to pyslocybin only lasts 3 days.

Re: storing/"shelf life" of mushrooms
Light, heat, and oxygen break down psylocibin (C12H17N2O4P). A great way to store shrooms, tried and tested, is to put them in a ziploc bag sealed with no air inside, put that in an opaque jar with some dessicant, fill it with an inert gas, like CO2, and seal the jar. Keep that jar in the freezer and the psylocibin will last an incredibly long time. Or you can get a vaccuum jar which works just as well. Anyone interested in shrooms and not paying the ridiculous prices for them should grow their own, it is fun an easy so I've been told.

All inexperienced growers should begin with PF syringes, they're some of the best. His spores have been around forever, he is reliable and the syringes are very sterile.

Re: storing/"shelf life" of mushrooms
That sounds alot harder to do and less convienant then the honey method.

Re: storing/"shelf life" of mushrooms
Yeah but then you don't have to keep it in honey. It is nice to keep in powder form, much better. Plus, you can extract the psilly's later if you'd like.
