about last month i started growing some p. cubenis... at some time i thought i totally fucked up but then they finally showed up and tody im about to harvest about 9 big fresh mushrooms and eat them... im still gonna have more flushes from that grow... and i also have more colonizing jars waiting to be birthed..

so the point of this thread is to say that growing mushrooms is really easy and ANYBODY can do it.. if you have any qestion please feel free to ask me, i'll be glad to help anybody get started...

That was me a long time ago. I know I should have attempted to grow by now like 20 times already. But now I am waiting for my friends parents to go on vacction to order the spores, which is in a few weeks. Awesome timing!

Ok actually i just had my first trip (im still kinda tripping lol )

First of all i followed pf tek, used everything they told me to use their..

oh damn i can't type right now and i can't think right now... just give me couple of few hours and i'll repost this topic or by tommorow i'll explain everything...

ok i got couple of contrams but all other jars fully colonized in about 3 weeks, i didnt have an incubator thats why it took so long, i order my spores from sporeworks i chose b+ as my strain...

i cased 2 cakes with vermiculate for better moisture.. in about 4 days after casing i recieved couple of small pins, and after that i put the casing inside my terrarium, and used perlite to achive humidity...

in about 5 days my mushrooms matured, and i ate them today and they kicked my ass and i really enjoed the trip ... tommorow i'll fix up my casing and get ready for another flush...

and i have about 5 more jars that are about 80% colonized....

1. Did you get prints of syringes?

2. Was everything homemade?, or did you order any equiptment online, buy something unique at a store?

3. Did you add anything to your terrarium for hummidity, temp, lid, etc.? Ex. lights, heating pads etc.

(I read an hour of light per day is good, although not necessary)

4. I'm assuming you have shroomed before from buying them from a dealer. Would you say your shrooms were just as potent and enjoyable? Whats your opinion of homegrown?

wowow i just woke up and feel exptremly good, no hangover or anything...

now im gonna try to answer all the question...

no i havent ever shroomed before, and i didnt even know what to expect, i was alittle impatient yesterday and didnt wait till my babie matured and just picked up all the big and small mushrooms and ate everything, i didnt eat alot and didnt expect for anything big but i got really fucked up, id say a nice level 1-2 trip, at some point i was totaly lost in my thoughts i forgot what the fuck was going all around me... i had nice trails and collors were really bright and nice... music sounded extremly good but was kinda annoying (i think i picked wrong music for my mushroom trip)

i bought a spore syringe, and got this really nice person to buy all the other stuff for me online for free, (don't ask me who or how ) i think you can easily find verm, brf and perlite in your local stores if you look good... my room temp was kinda low and i didnt use any other equimpment to raise them temp exept this little heater that stands in my room, once my jars were colonized i decided to go with a casing instead of just fruting plain cakes, i cased 2 cakes and let the casing layer colonize again, i happend very quick and pins showed up preaty soon, so i just put the stuff in my terrarium (plan rubbermaid container with a window on the top and transparent plastic over it, so some light gets insed)

the other person was right http://www.shroomery.org is a very good site to find all the qestion, im actually a member of their forums and i reccomend you register there and start asking all the question there... my name is c0ma there...

mushrooms cultivation is really easy but remember you have to be sterilie couse if your not then there is a chance that all your work will be killed by ugly and smelly contrams...

Drying is ok if you do it right, but if your not careful you can kill 50% of there "oomph".....thats why you have to buy many shrooms when you handle with a dealer, I don't know one dealer who takes his time in drying the shrooms....anyway as far as drying goes I think you can use the fridge or some setup with those moisture things ( name escapes me right now my apologies ) but it takes all the moisture out of the shrooms..good luck on your cultivation/drying.

anyway man you can still get spores if you look hard enough, just ask some people at shroomery to send you spores via e-mail and then try to make your own sirenge, if you look hard enough and arrange some type of trade some people might even send you a premade spre sirenge... i don't know if any legit spore vendors will ship to cali but they might... so good luck geting those spores man, and once you do remember you just need to success once and after that you can grow for life, making your own spores from your own mushrooms!!!!

Thanks tryp, I WILL be sucessful in shroom cultivation. Thats the spirit eh? I havent even tried yet, but soon around the 3rd week of December.

Extazy, how much light did you give it a day, just because I will need to hide them in my closet from parents, although I can leave the light on over night.

And was your heater a heating pad?

i just have a whole in the lid of my rubbermaid container and i put transparent plastic over it... and the container itself just sits on one of my shelves, i didnt use any more light... also light is not a big problem with musrhoom cultivation... some people say even couple of hours/minutes a day is enough just to show your shrooms which way to grow... so if you just have 12/12 lite it will be more then enough...
