As most people know, LSD was origionally created for the MKULTRA project to be given to soldiers in combat. The intent was to create the ultimate killing machine who wouldn't fear getting killed. Other chemicals were also created by MKULTRA (MDMA and others I think but I'm not sure) that are used today as recreational drugs. I've never done any of these, but I wonder if you would be more susceptible to mind control after doing them...

Ive never heard about LSD being used to improve soldiers performance, but ive heard is was tested to make opponent soldiers easy to kill in combat. Besides MDMA- Cocaine and amphetamines has been used to increase soldiers athletic performance.

LSD was used to completely fuck up a soldiers performance (I dont exactly know why it was created, but it certainly wasnt for the use to turn people into killing machines). Have you ever tried LSD? No, well, you dont exactly think how about killing shit while your not. It expands your mind, makes you talk with God, makes you change your whole perspective on shit. And actually, I bet you would be more susceptible to "mind-control" while on Acid. Considering what happens on the trip can and almost definately will, change your life... forever.

Edit - and Ipeg, wtf are you talking about MDMA being used to improve athletic performance??? Amphetamines were developed to give a soldier no fear of death. E was developed to help open up psychology patients.

Neither LSD nor MDMA were created by the MK ULTRA project. LSD was first synthesized by Albert Hoffman who was working for the pharmaceutical company Sandoz. MDMA was created before WWI by Merck.

I think a person who has experienced the drugs that were used would be less susceptible to mind control. Much of the strategy for use of those drugs in mind control applications centers around surruptitious dosing. A person who doesn't know what acid is like and is slipped a dose will have a lot harder time dealing with it than someone who suddenly finds himself tripping but has experienced the state before.

An Army general at one point suggested that they could spike the water supply of a city with LSD in order to make it easier to take over.

MKULTRA was really fucked up. Consider that the CIA secretly dosed its US citizens, regardless of the potential harm or death. In fact, one man leaped to his death after being secretly dosed massive quanities of LSD. This of course was covered up entirely.

Even more fucked up was "Operation Northwoods". Even though it never took place because Kennedy wouldn't approve it (which may have led to his assasination) it called for the slaughter of innocent US citizens by CIA operatives to provoke the public into a vengeful war with Cuba.
