every time i get stoned, i start acting stupid. i get all congested and sound really weird. sometimes i dont say nething. what do u do?

You just have to get used to it. The more smoking experience you get, the more you'll be able to not act stupid. Marijuana is one of the most stupifying drugs. On the other hand, you can also switch to stimulants like cocaine and crystal meth, which make you smarter while you're on them.

Like the other poster says, the more you do it, the less stupid you act. Not only because your tolerance increases, but you actually learn how to behave normally while under the influence. You still might have physiological responses (dry eyes, hoarse throat, cottonmouth) but you'll be psychologically adapted to the high and will be able to pass for sober if you wanted to.

Vox and Scoff are right, you just gotta get used to it.

Think before you act and take your thoughts slower untill you feel natural acting. Dont get carried away ethier into acting dumb, it can be easy to fall into.

its kind of hard to act normal if you havent gotten high in a while and you get those really high highs.. i wuz at walmart one day and i hadnt smoked in 2 weeks and i wuz gone, and when i walked in i made myself act normal.. but theirs jus to many weird people there to not laugh at..

when you're high you can get "carried away" [as grungy said] with acting normal or acting sleepy or anything in between.

just take it slow and don't worry about how you're acting.

I usually sit, and watch the other people im smoking with. I always find something funny about someone and start laughing. And I spend the next 4 hours laughing and eating.

i dont think its that hard personally. ive only gotten high once ive smoked it twice. First time i didnt get high. Anyways my mom came in when me and my friend were high and asked "whats that smell?" I wasnt scared at all and i simply replied we were burning stuff and shes just said dont do it again and i got out fine. It was very easy to act normal and my friend said my voice sounded fine. Just control yourself and think about what you are doing.

one day about a month ago, in my class right afterlunch i was mad baked and i was doing just fine but i realized how much my substitute teacher looked like an exclamation point and she was talking to the class about a project while i was in tears laughing trying not to draw attention to myself. more i luaghed the funnier it got though, and then it got really funny that i was cracking up and the rest of the room was giving me weird looks


anyways listen to what they say when i started i was very non-sensical (not a word) basically i blabbered about stupid shit a lot but after a while you learn to control yourself

my friend said he was high at walmart when he was working and started cracking up from the beeps that the cashier thing made when he rang items and he couldnt stop and the people complained and he got fired. lol

keeping normal when your stonned isnt that hard to do, you just do it. mind over matter.

the problem with all you weed smokein newbies is you dont realize weed isnt that powerfull. you can only get so high and then you just get sleepy, no matter how chron your dealer tells you it is.

well thats not entirely true. people tell themselves they're more stonned than they are so in a way they do get more stonned.

yeah thats kinda true weed can be powerfull, but it wont make you do anything you wouldnt do sober. it just makes you less of a puss like alchohol.

you can also die off alchahol if enough is taken. It is rare but many more people die from drinking than people smoking pot. In fact not one person has died from smoking pot the only time a person has died was while high and the same thing could happen if you were sober in the cases i heard about.

the thing is, i am experienced with it. ive been smoking pot for years, very often. i recently watched a video of myself stoned...now, every time i smoke, i realize how weird i sound. i dont think its anything that more experience can cure.

i once took like 7 shots of vodka before school and some bitch who rode my bus knarked on me and i was escorted to the office and i was drunker than shit and they asked me if i was drunk and i said no and he said he didnt beleive me and was gonna get a breathalizer so i said ok im drunk and i answered all their questions except for where i got it.. i made up some bs story about how i was scared for my safety if i knarked.. anyways for some reason they didnt give me an MIC and i only got 3 days suspension

no. i've been thinking lately about [my] smoking. all positive. i enjoy everything more, i accept things more easily, i can reason with my self and others more easily, and i have expirienced several different changes of perspective while high.

[i have to talk to my girl about this...

red_tequila, thats not true what u r saying. First of all smoking pot doesnt damage your lungs(if it does its minimal or less), tobacco does. U could as well eat it, and this wouldnt happen anyhow. Its like saying that Heroin damages your veins. By the way u can drown i your bathtub, even while sober. I can see that its hard to understand/accept that something which isnt really dangerous is illegal, while alcohol is legal. It might be easier to create "scary stories" against it rather than actually live with the law sucks in many ways.
When im stoned i dont consider myself as stupid at all though i clearly see that me and the guys are clearly acting different though not stupid at all- like DR.GONZO said, isnt thats what weeds is about.
Scoff, people dont get smarter(in the intellectual way)on meth and coke, they more likely has more self-esteem and has flowing conversation etc.
