i tried methadone today. i took one pill that cost me 3 dollars, i don't know if it was 5mg or 10mg. anyways...both me and my frined jenna took 1. jenna had taken hers yesterday, and today i asked what should i expect, and she said id get pretty fucking high. she is extremly knoledgeable on drugs, probally more than myself.

alright. so heres the problem. i took it at around 6:15 a.m. i got to school at 7:15 a.m. and i felt light headed with a slight buzz, and seemed somewhat happier. i was deffinently not high.

i do not have much experience with opiates, so i know i don't have a tollerance. any help as to why i didn't get high?
also, it was the exact same feeling when i took 75mg of HC.

is this normal?

your body probably ignored it cuz you were at school.. maybe part of your brain made your body ignore it so you dont make an ass of yourself in front of teachers or somethin.. or i could be totally off and be completely wrong.. oh well lol

ive done tons of drugs at school and got high as shit.

i pulled that answer out of no where.. i wuz jus taking a guess at it.. ive gotten smashed while at school to.. but maybe some people are different..

was methadone made to get junkies to quit? it's used that way... but was it designed so?

i actually wuznt thinking.... it wuz a creative answer at the time when i wuz thinking of it.. maybe cuz i wuz high..

You weren't high because methadone doesn't get you high. It blocks your opiod receptors so the good part of opiates can't affect you. THAT's why junkies take it to quit dope. THAT's why they give them methadone instead of decreasingly smaller doses of heroin. THAT's why you didn't catch a buzz. I can only imagine what Meta would say...

my school starts at 7:15. i prolly actually got there at 7:10 if it reall matters...

kronikus has been the only one to respond with a logical, RELEVENT comment. But anyways, I have a question for 40. Have you done any opiates before trying methadone(Vicodin, Codiene...)? If you would have done any of those in the past couple of days, it would explain why you didnt really get high.
Edit - And I've read accounts on Erowid and even these very forums that state that Methadone can and will get you high. So maybe your friend was bullshiting...

This isnt totally bull, though 40 should still be able to feel it. I dont think that it is making an ass out of ones selves i just control myself so they wont notice when am drunk/stoned in school- if i wouldnt be kicked out i would be the meanest ass.
By the way: "Budgie" rules dl some when u r stoned.
