i got some methadone from my dealer, i got it because i was about to score some OC's, and hes like man save your money and buy this for 3 bucks, its the same. (hes a very very reliable dealer)

he says to take 1 and ill be straight. (i have a very low tollerance to opiates)

My question is:
What should i expect, i understand that its like heroin but does it dffer? is it really powerful where i can not sit up, or is it weaker?

If you're trying to get high forget it.

That's one reason they use it to treat addiction.

The dealer was right - if you are addicted to opiates it will get you straight.

i thought if you have no tolerance methadone fucks you up for like 48 hours

nono, it's active for the first few hours, but it sits on your endorphin receptors 48 hours, so for the next 48 hours, you cannot get high.

The last time I took methadone I felt good for 3 days off of 10 mg with no opiate tolerance buildup.

By opiate tolerance build up, do you mean that you've had no opiates up to that point, so there was no tolerance to deal with?

ive actually never done methadone but awhile back abunch of pills came through and a good friend of mine said it was better than oc right now i can gte this methadone liquid im not even sure how they sell it considering its liquid but i might try it

Methadone is used for withdrawels (as said above). This is because its a fairly soft opiate, a person on heroin withdrawel will take methadone to make the withdrawel symptoms more managable until the person can fully live without opiates. To a non-opiate user it should give a fair high, it won't be anywhere near as good as OCs but if you got the methadone for $3 you can't really complain. $3 is about �2 so i'd say that methadone was very cheap. OC 40s around here are about �8 a pill so you got a fair deal there.

I'd just like to state that i think taking Opiates is a bad idea. They are too adictive for my liking and i've seen several people try something like OC or Heroin "just to see what its like" and then end up as smack heads and junkies. Opiates are bad news people.

I read somewhere a 'methadone substance report' on Erowid where someone said they tried methadone for the first time and the high lasted around 20 hours. An opiate high that lasts almost an entire day? I'd like to try some! And whats this about opiates being so addictive?? When I use Vics and Propoxyphene I have little or no craving for them the next day... maybe to much of a good thing???

i took it earlier today. (tuesday), can i not get high on opiates? or can i not get high on anything? like pot or shrooms, etc.

pot, shrooms, and other drugs that aren't opiates work on other receptors, so you can get high on them.

the way it sounds, you won't be noddin for a day or two...
