i've triped on dxm many times on many different brands, and i've learned that if you want a nice safe trip without having to worry bout anything. Well then i suggest you use DexAlone. Its made by Dexgen. Its consist of 30 mg of dxm, and thats all that is listed in the active ingrediants. Its a little pricey. but then again. whats the price of your life worth to ya. If anyone ever had the chance to use Drixoral cough caps before it was removed from the selves. Well dexalone is even safer than that. Where i work DexAlone is sold right off the self to anyone. Some places will have it behend the counter and you must be 18.

Well you can also get vicks44 cough relief cough syrup or delsym cough syrup and the only active ingredients in those are DXM too so I'm not quite sure if I see your point.

His point is to stop using Coricidin C&C and use DexAlone instead.

Most people who trip on Dextromethorphan do so through CCC, not honey cough, robitussin max strength, vicks44, delsym, etc. so this is directed at them. Everyone would rather take some pills than chug several ounces of syrup, hence the topic.

Ah, I see. Yeah don't use Coricidin I just popped 16 of them this weekend and I only hope that nothing bad happens to me in the days to come. Then today I went on another dxm trip using vick44 cough syrup and it kicked in faster than the pills did. But I'll try out those other pills you have mentioned sam, if I see them in a store (although I probably won't).

If nothing happened to you Phender in the 24 hours after ingesting the pills you should be alright. I do CCC all the time (only because its easy to steal and always available..no, I don't recommend it). The CPM thins your blood (or maybe this is a rumor), but because its broken down by the same liver enzyme as DXM there can be problems yadda yadda yadda. If you were alergic to the CPM in coricidin youd be dead or in the hospital by now. That doesn't mean go nuts with the stuff though

DexAlone is a new med, so not many places carry it. You'd have to call and ask your local grocery store or pharmacy to start carrying it most likely.

ive done corcidin about 50 times...and never had a problem. but im still worried everytime i take it about what could go wrong. this other thing you mentioned- dexalone.....ive never seen it. i live on the east coast. perhaps they have already removed it from the shelves? how long ago did it come out?

why pay 20 bucks for a gram of pure when you can get a gram of dxm in cough syrup dor about 15

because the pure dxm is... well... pure. it won't kill you (barring overdose and drug interaction complications).
