For a limited time (How limited will depend on how much you abuse it), I've decided to offer a service to our community.

We seem to be inundated with threads asking, "How much cough syrup should I drink??", so I'm going to try to put a stop to it. If you post here or email me with:

• Your weight
  
• Your preferred plateau OR dosage ratio
  
• The DXM content of your syrup (Standard max strength is 15mg/tsp aka 3mg/mL)
  
  I will reply with the proper dosage, in mL or approximate teaspoons.
  
  DO NOT
  
  
• Send more than one email a week
  
• Ask for Coricidin dosages
  
• Ask any qualitative questions about the experience.
  

This is part of my effort to be a mod for the forum, not for myself. If you abuse it, I will stop.

Good idea Theta, but there isn't much need. If somebody has the webspace to host a small excel file then we could direct people to my DXM dosage calculator.

Just to check though- the way i work plateaus is like this:

1st plat= 1.5-2.5 mg/kg
2ns plat= 2.5-7.5 mg/kg
3rd plat= 7.5-15 mg/kg
4th plat= 15 mg/kg

Those are the figures i use to calculate plateaus- they are from both research and personal experiance, does anyone disagree?

Someone who knows how to program, even visual programming could make a nice simple proggie that would calculate the dosage according to weight, plateau desired etc...

Something similar to the trip calculator at shroomery.org would be quite nice.

This is kinda off the topic, im bored as fuck today have no cash to spend on bud so im thinking about trying DXM but im alone here, is it a bad idea to take DXM alone? i oonly wanna reach the second plateu.

Yes, I've considered how simple it would be to write a bit of code to do it. This is just for those too lazy to do the 30 seconds of math that it takes.

WhiteWidow420 - At the second plateau you should be fine by yourself. You probably won't be able to communicate very well with others, anyway. Just sit back and groove to some nice music.

Cough syrup is fuckin expensive. 6 bucks for a bottle of honey flavored cough syrup. If I had the money, I'd get stoned then drink a bunch of those. Cus they taste so good stoned.

Theta, dont you think if someone is so god damn stupid they cant figure out how much dex to take, they shouldnt be taking it? Its not that hard to find the information on the net.

Yeah, MR.SMITH, I do. The thing is, I'd rather they ask me to do simple division than chug three bottles of Tussin and end up in the ER, their panicked mothers telling the docs how their kids were sitting in a corner mumbling in some Ewok language and sweating Honey Cough.

I propose we change the official flogging fish to the catfish, as it is much uglier and more degrading to the user.
