| Better Living Through Chemistry Discussions of any and all sorts of mind-warping chemicals, pills, booze, mind machines, trippy stuff, making beer, current street prices, importing pharmaceuticals, smart drugs, nutrients, herbs, and altered states. Sustainable altered reality
Just musing here, but if you could have a life-long supply of crack or heroin, and was good at moderating intake, would you do it every day, foregoing any potential fortune and glory? Eff it, I'm thinking "Why not". What with every field saturated by every joe-boy wanting to make the next big discovery, what's left but to place pegs in what few holes are left?

Re: Sustainable altered reality
Well, until the next big discovery does happen to open up new fields with a great amount of brick-sized holes to fill in. Then, just maybe then, I might feel bad for picking up the pipe/needle. But that's what a life-long supply is for!(!!)

Re: Sustainable altered reality
What the bloody hell are you talking about? I clicked on the link with some enthusiasm, as an indefinite mental transcendence is very interesting to ponder or fantasize about. But, you chose to type up the 2 things that would kill this discussion. First off, you wrote about a 'life long supply' of ' crack and heroin'. You choose the two 'hardest' drugs you can think of, assuming the "high" from them is more intense or 'better' than the high of other drugs. Crack makes no sense altogether, as you'd be smoking a rock every 30 minutes if you decided to continuisly do it; and this would easily kill you. Same goes for heroin. The only worthy difference is that heroin has a more universally enjoyed effect as compared to crack. If you were serious about discussing a high that lasts forever, I would've assumed you/we 'd be discussing disassociatives like phencyclidine and dextromethorphan, or psychadelics like LSD. Second mistake: A lifetime supply and in moderation? Those words don't belong in the same sentance when describing this topic. It's moronic. A lifetime supply of crack and heroin would mean you're high enough in some drug cartel to be able to take product, so keep dreaming. the only drug you could get a 'lifetime supply' of for free is DXM, which would involve stealing from every pharmacy and grocery store you can find. close this thread please. It doesn't deserve to be turned in the right direction

Well, if I got anything out of this thread, it was the root of the thought that spawned it identified for me. As for the rest of the reply, well, sometimes we all need to get knocked on our ear and kicked in the crotch. Next time I get the urge to post something like this I'll save it for the other uninformed people I smoke with outside on the dorm steps.
