I think most people now automatically associate the word "drug" with "illegal". I've been told that a drug is any substance that effects the body in any way, shape, or fashion...or somethin' like that. Alcohol falls under that category.

I dont like people who say weed isnt a drug. Just because its not bad for you it doesnt mean its not a drug. When you smoke it, it changes how you feel making it a drug. Just like ciggerates. and all other plant oriented drugs. Weed is probably one of the safest substances you can do but remember it is a still a drug because it changes how you act and how your brain acts.

Alchohol is worse than pot. Alchohol kills way more brain cells than pot... if anyone thinks this is bullshit... fuck you its true..

Since when is weed not at least somewhat bad for you? Just because it is relativly safe and generally regarded as one of the safest illicit drugs doesn't mean it doesnt have its bad side affects.

Yea and I have never heard of someone dying of Thc posioning. It is impossible to overdose on pot. While it is possible to overdose on alcohol. Alcohol which kills people is legal, while weed which is safer and hasn't killed any one is illegal. weird huh?

Well, to the point, it's possible to die of EXTRACTED alchohol. Or, in other words, distilled spirits.

It WOULD be possible to DIE of EXTRACTED thc. Just because the rift between "getting high" on thc is farther from toxicity than with alchohol doesn't really mean it's "safe." Just means you're less likely to die from it.

Take it from an expert: Weed fucks with you. You'll find out.

As far as I know, bud ain't really good for you, but comparatively speaking, it's not bad at all. They say it has more carcinogens than cigarettes, but I say to that "lies and propaganda!". However, I've researched this certain aspect and it is possible to die from bud, well sorta. They (the sourse...I forget where) didn't give an exact amount, but it was somethin' like "it would take 40,000 times the amount it takes to get you high for you to overdose". For all I know the number is completely off, but the point is it's next to impossible to OD on buddha.
And alcohol, yeah, I'd say it's worse than bud. Sure, no cancer-causing agents, but a much greater chance of overdosing, when mixed with certain drugs it can kill you, and it damages your liver and brain.
The bottom line is this, as long as you use the two responsibly (is it even responsible to use them?) and in moderation, you should be alright.

Individual instances of cannabis and alcohol use aren't dangerous, unless you have an allergic reaction, you're driving or operating heavy machinery, or you drink/smoke a shitload, etc...

The dangersous side-effects result from long-term use, such as dependence, the increased risk of cancer, lung/brain/liver damage......

What they mean is how the drug kills your psysically. Such as, you take to much and you OD from it or w/e. Whatever you do while stoned doesnt meen weed is the cause. Its your own fault if you do that
