Most beer is around 5 percent alcohol. It varies. Bud light is 4.2 percent. Budweiser is 5 percent. Bud ice is 5.5 percent. This is similar for most other beers. It is a common misconception that dark beers get you fucked up faster. Guiness and Newcastle have the same alcohol content of budweiser if not lower.

This has to be the dumbest thing I've ever read as it says RIGHT ON THE BOTTLE here in good old Canadaland anyways.

the beer content is alway on the bottle assuming you live in america. And the best beer comes from slovakia which is 13.5% alcohol. You cant even call it beer anymore and its a little higher than most malt liquors which are usually 8%. Though they can't sell that type of beer in America. Microbrews are usually 3.5%. I never drink microbrew because it is so expensive.

There are state to state laws that vary between as low as 3.5% to as high as 7.9% alcohol. Usually a state limits a beer company to a certain percent, most companies go as high or close to as high as they can. Here in Alabama i believe a brewery can go no higher than 6 points or somewhere close to it. The highest alcohol beer I've seen widely sold here is natty ice which is 5.9%. And to answer your question go under the alcohol section in Erowid and go under brands and alcohol levels and it has a pretty nifty list of every brand beer you could ever find
