I have a hydrocodone pill with 'm357' imprinted on it and on the bottle it says APAP 5/50 Gene and the time the prescription was made was may 2000. what if anyuse does this pill have? thank you

if you normally don't take painkillers, then 5 mg hydrocodone, will give you a slight buzz, hopefully you have more in the bottle to get a higher buzz. as far as if it is good I think that narcotics don't get worse or better with age, I took 2 ativan 1mg, from 1995, pretty little A's, and enjoyed myself so and didn't die or anything

in my experiences,hydrocodone doesnt start to lose potency for at least 5 years. even after that it is pretty safe to take,even if it won't get you high it wont necessarily hurt you as long as there isnt like mold or something growing on or near it. and if you have one of them,i would either rail it,or use it for actual pain. 5mg of hydrocodone never gave me a buzz,even when i had no opiate tolerance. hehehe...reminds me of my first hydroco experience...i had 10 7.5/750 hydroco/apaps from someones dental surgery...i took 1,no real effect. the next day,i took 3. still nothing(i think i just didnt know what the buzz was like,so i didnt know i was experiencing it. hydrocodone is pretty light to me,except in excess of 30 mg) fed up and inexperienced(before this,i had only smoked weed. i was never even drunk till about 6 months after this happened), i took the remaining 6 pills. whooooo,that was crazy. i was extremely sluggish. i was laying in my bed(it was a loft bed,lotsa fun) and i was nodding, and every time i closed my eyes,it felt like i was awake,somewere else, doing something. for instance i was in a graffiti krew, and we had covered my walls in bombs and pieces. anyways, i was layin there for about a half hour before i realized that i WASNT really throwing up tags on the wall across the room. it sucked because all the shit i imagined i did was so much better than my real shit,and i forgot it all...lol,just an inane little tale of my stupidity. if you really took the time to read it,i pity you...

is hydrocodone the same as vicodin, im sorry i ought to have picked up on this by now. So whats the differenece between the 2?

5 mb shouldn't give you a buzz. Thats still within the recommended dosage. Almost every vicodin bottle I've ever seen said "Take 1 - 2", doctors don't want their patients getting a nod, when they just want pain relief, right?

Also, ativan is not a painkiller, lorezepam (the avtive in ativan), wouldn't kill you (most likely) even if you took 20 pills, instead of 2.

And grungy: Its like this, Vicodin is just a name for any combination of hydrocodone/acetaminophen. Its kinda like Heinz brand ketchup..still ketchup, just says Heinz on it

yes,im very aware...i only took 6 of them at one time,the other 4 were on previous days.

thanks djsam. I had 4 10/325 hydrocodone the other day. So 40 mgs, is that a standard amount, because I could of handled more. I just dont want to toast my liver.

that is vicodin plain and simple not strong ones at that if they were 5/750 or 5/1000 those would be good

Fiend 13- 5/750 and 5/1000 are very weak vicodens containing only 5 milligrams of hydrocodone and 750-1000 mgs of acetiminophen. If you are using recreationally and plan on taking more than the recommended dosage, then 750-1000 mg of acetiminophen would not b a good thing. That would mean that by taking as few as 25 mgs of hydrocodone (a fairly average recreational dose) you would encounter very dangerous levels of acetiminophen.
Bottom line-- The lower the acetiminophen level, the better.
PS-there is no such thing as 5 mg vicoden containing that much acetiminophen (750 mg and DEFINITELY not 1000 mg)
