Bingo! That's what I used to do with my dirt weed [mind you, I would never buy below a certain level of quality of weed, so 'dirt weed' just refers to the lowest, which was still very decent]. It was actually mid to upper mid level Mexican sativa. I used to sell and so I'd buy by the 1/2 pound [which I could sometimes get for as low as $250.00: Tells you how long ago that was, eh?] Anyway, it used to dry out easilly so I would toss in some orange peel and or apple peels. Not only did it keep the weed moist, but it did add a nice subtle under-flavor. I highly reccomend you at least try it.

Even if the smell was that noticable, you couldn't really call it your own brand like that because people would eventually figure out that your adding fruit peels, etc. Then your innovative strain would start multiplying amung those who prefered and bought off of you.

Re: Putting flavour in your weed?
I said it to fast, pardon me. U go to your local mcdonals and get a lil pack of honey. Then dip your finger in it. like you would wet he joint normaly. This will also make the joint burn slower, will add flavour. and even will improuve the weed smell. So u migth convince a stupid mother that its just the smell of Chinise insents. try with a lil first. and it would help if u let the end wich u intend to ligth without honey.

Re: Putting flavour in your weed?
How growers get their weed to smell like citrus is by adding fruit concentrate to the water, mostly hydroponic, in the proper stage and the weed absorbs the concentrate and smells great. So if someone is trying to sell you some strawberry hydro its no different than normal hydro, just the smell.

Re: Putting flavour in your weed?
so, say, a drop or so of orange oil will make the weed taste good?
i want to do this because storing a lot with orange peels may cause some mold growth... i want something i can drop right on the bowl.
(and no, i'm not going to put orange oil based cleaners on my weed, but i'm going to see if i can find a way to press out some orange oil... hmm)

Re: Putting flavour in your weed?
this has nothing to do with flavour but for all you ppl growing bush out there if u want to sell it for a decent price here is wot u do setup a resivour sp? like in a hydro system but in the water u put food coluring in the water this makes the plant go purple or wotever colour u put in there and ppl think it is chroinc gear, i am pretty shure this will work i have five plants all about 5cm high and they are all purple not just the stem the leaves as well but now i am just going to have to wait and see if the buds will grow purple

Re: Putting flavour in your weed?
Drying your weed and rehydrating it with various scented herbs works great. We did a 1/4 lb once to see if we could create an upscale market for fragrant weed, we used orange peels, rose petals, and a vanilla bean. The resulting herb smelled marvelous, and the smell carried over somewhat to the smoke. Nobody wanted to pay any more for it though so we kept it around as house smoke and a treat for guests. After 2 months in the mason jar it had cured a bit more and developed a smell that was out of this world, I would have liked to have made it into a "pothead perfume"

If by clean, you're refering to not smokign weed anymore [I mean JUST weed] I highly suggest you donmt ever touch another drug in your life. In any case, I would say if you're a 'stoner' you'de wanna experiment to make the bud more interesting. I personally don't think weed tastes all that fantastic. Dont get me wrong I think it tastes somewhat good, but it could be better. I have to second the fruit peel methode as its a nice way of going about adding some sent to your herb, as well a bit of a tate, but nothign much. I'de say your best bet for having a nice smelling/tasting smoke, is to do as FortyOunces said, and grab some flavoured blunt wraps. Then come in stawberry, cherry, water mellong, chocolate, and a whole bunch of flavours. It creates an amazing aroma Im sure anyone whos ever smelt it loves!

1) You only appreciate the wonderfull taste of weed once you don't smoke it any more. just like everything else you don't realize how good it is untill it is gone. 2) for flavor i used to put coolade or orange juice in the bong.

Re: Putting flavour in your weed?
My friend had and idea that he could purchase some menthal on the internet and mix it with bud. It's seems like a good idea, might be interesting. A lot of bud smokers I know smoke Newports too, so....maybe they would like menthal flavored bud too.

Re: Putting flavour in your weed?
Why add some gank when you can just buy the real?
http://www.emeryseeds.com/
They have plenty of flavors.
This one is a favorite of some "friends" of mine... Black Domina : Indica. This is full-bodied, with large bracts and will soon have you on your knees begging for more. This harsh overpowering lady simply gushes sticky resin. A word of warning: this powerful compact Indica has had a devastating effect on many a man, leaving them apparently whipped and beaten, with a strange smile on their faces. Height 100-130cm Flowering time 7 weeks. Yield 90-120gr.
or
Hawaiian Sativa : Sativa. The Hawaiian is a pure sativa origininating from the big Island of Mauna Kea. It's been bred and stabilized for more than 15 years on Vancouver Island. Sugary with crystal, it has a very destinctive citrus odour and menthol flavour that tingles the taste buds and tickles the brain. Tall vigorous growth with few branches, classic cactus shape. Extreme elongation in the first two weeks of flowering with tufts of long thin hairs developing into long sticky spear buds which thicken up after the sixth or seventh week. The lemon flavor intensifies when flushed for a long time (3 weeks) with straight water. Very energetic and up high, great to smoke during the day for an active lifestyle. Height 8 feet Flowering time 10-12 wks Yield 8 oz full size. 3/4oz in a 2 gal pot. Harvest outdoor Nov 1 to forever.
