anyone take any parkinsons disease meds for any reason and what do u think of it. i have restless leg syndrome (RLS) and they want to put me on that...

levodopa is a precursor to dopamine. they don't give you straight dopamine because it doesn't pass the blood-brain barrier (for obvious reasons). once in your brain, all the levodopa is converted to dopamine, which one might THINK would make levodopa recreationally useful, but it's really not.
