How long does it take opiates to leave your system? I have to piss Thursday, and I took 4 750mg Vicodins on Monday. I'm exercising and drinking water, think it will be gone?

yeah, keep up your water intake, piss alot. drink alot of water before you go to piss, youll be fine.

also, they werent 750mg. that would kill the most hardcore junkie. my guess is you mean hydrocodone/APAP 7.5/500mg.

I wonder if when you test and theres oxy in your system if you test positive for opiates or oxy. Like i mean if your just a pill head and its just a postive on opiates they may think your an H addict.

It takes a lot to make my jaw drop anymore; but it sure the f**k did when I came across the following while doing more drug testing research last week.

The presence of 6-acetyl-morphine is relatively conclusive of recent heroin use, but is only detectable for a few hours after use. The presence of codeine can be the result of either heroin or codeine use. The presence of morphine can be the result of the use of heroin, codeine, or morphine. Relative levels of codeine and morphine can help determine their origin.

Tested for in Extended Drug Tests? SOMETIMES
Detection Period in Urine 3-4 days

Hydrocodone does not show up in the basic opiate test which is part of the standard pre-employment drug test. The opiate test tests primarily for morphine (which both codeine and heroin break down into). Since hydrocodone does not break down into morphine, it is not detected. Hydrocodone is tested for in the extended tests offered by some testing companies.
