serzone is a anti-depressent prescription medication my mother takes, being kinda curious one night, i took one 150mg pill. not really having any effect, i just went to bed. I woke up about 1 hour later, just hearing alot of wierd stuff(auditory hallucinations) and it scared the shit out of me. i got out of bed and i looked in the mirror and it was scary, my pupils are very dilated, and i just felt like shit. i tried going back to sleep, but i found out i was WIDE awake. very paranoid looking over my shoulder every 2 seconds, i got on my computer and chatted with people, then the auditory hallucinations came back, some guy was talking to me(dont remember what he said)
everything was extremly wierd. not really like trippin on shrooms or something, but this is entirely different. it was very scary. i stayed up the whole night with tons of energy and paranoia. went to school and i swore that i knew everyone was planning to kill me. even my teachers were in on it. i didnt stop freaking out until i went home and slept. it was a really wierd experience. it wasnt very pleasent but it wasnt that bad either, it would be so much better if it didnt last so long. i just thought i would share my experience.

thats fucked up- im not familiar with that anti-depressant but i dont see how any anti depressant would cause those effects...interesting indeed

maybe they only make 'normal' people trip. my mom is kinda loopy(seriously) so maybe it just works ok on her.

definatly not expecting anything beyond a slight mood lift. thats why it scared the shit out of me.

ill give it to some stupid stoners at school and see if they trip.

Not exactly sure of this... but based on the name, maybe it has to do with Serotonin. Serotonin being a chemical in your brain which promotes happiness. THC raises Serotonin levels causing euphoria. It might be possible for this to have recreational effects(euphoria mainly) if it alters your Serotonin somehow .

if it's for depression then it obviously effects serotonin. do u take any medication yourself? my only guess is that it's an maoi that has interacted with your other meds, or a nice placebo effect.

There are several anti-depressants that don't target serotonin.

no antidepressant will get you high. you have experienced what i (and many others) like to call the "placebo effect". congratulations, you never need to buy drugs again. you can smoke broccoli, and if you are convinced that it will get you high, it probably will, cuz serzone didn't do that shit to you.

i dont think that it effects serotonin, it definitly did not produce euphoria. and i am definatly not reccomending this as any replacement to any drug, just thought i should tell you all my story.

and i dont think it is a placebo effect...i didnt even mean to get high, i guess i just felt kinda bummed out from my recent withdrawal to hydrocodone, so i just wanted to see what a anti-depressent would do to me. i think anything that can psyicallly wake me up and make me hear things, make my pupils dilated, headaches, nausea, make me extremly thirsty, 12-15 hours strait is certainly not caused by a 'mindset' not too mention many other odd effects.

Trazadone is an anti-deppressent and used for other things such as cocaine withdrawal.

I took one and it definetly had effect. I'm positive it was not placebo.

trazodone is a pretty fuckin weird drug. my mom is on it and ive taken as much as 200 mg before,but i didnt really notice anything.however my friend nikki claims to get messed up off them....she has diabetes though, and im wondering if maybe this had something to do with it?and she also appears to be hypersensitive to flexeril, because i gave her one 10mg and 2 hours later she was telling a missionary to fuck jesus up his ass with a crucifix...
