Producing "Thc oil"
Hey I read some directions on the internet on making "Thc oil". I believe i got the link off these boards in fact.
You can view them here: http://www.truthtree.com/thc_extract.shtml
Anyway my questions are:
Could I use peppermint extract instead of Everclear as I believe it is indeed 90% grain alchohal. (Am I correct?)
Will using a pill crusher to get the weed into a very fine powder effect the product in anyway, beside speeding the solution creation?
Is it forseeable that this will work?

Re: Producing "Thc oil"
Oh I have a little more than an 1/8th. And it is pretty decent chronic.
Would that produce enough to get me and 4 friends pretty stoned? Consider we are fairly lightweighted smokers.
Thanks people.

Re: Producing "Thc oil"
do not do it. please do not do it. with 4 grams(which is a little over an 8th)i dont think you will yeild much. just blaze the shit. and about the peppermint extract...i guess it would work but i think it would end up tasting of peppermint(isnt all the flavoring oil?). but please just blaze it.
edit: i actually read the extraction. they say you can use any amount of weed. they also suggest leaving it in a solution with a relative high amount of alcohol.

Re: Producing "Thc oil"
Hmmm. You say not to do it; but offer little reason. Ill respect your opinion, (lemme know why though) but does anyone else have something to add. But generally would the lower yield be accounted for by the low amount of THC destruction?

Re: Producing "Thc oil"
The estimated alchohal content in Peppermin extract is 90%, thats just like everclear, should work fine...

Re: Producing "Thc oil"
It will probably work, but is it worth the trouble? I would say no. This is because the amount of fruitless effort you are going to put into making the extract, however small that effort might be, is going to be a waste of time. You wont end up getting higher than if you just had the weed, and if it doesn't work you're screwed.
It would be a good idea if you had lot more bud, but with 1/8 i would say just roll a nice cone, or hit a fat bong session.
Just my 2.
